at one time, BC was giving out subsidies for ebikes (income test so most here wouldn't qualify) but I still contend that ebike is the fastest way to recoup an investment if you're able to commute to work. Not EV's. |
but but druggies can steal ebikes but they cant steal EV |

There was a news article couple days ago about ppl ripping it on EV dirt bikes on bike lanes. Probably not a good idea as it makes the PEV community look bad. |

One it’s almost 120lbs in weight. Two it’s self locking and gps tracked with the ninebot app. Three I got an AirTag in the underseat storage compartment Four it flashes its horn and lights making a shit ton of noise if it’s moved or touched while in lock mode. so try and take it you weirdos!!! If you think junkies or the RCMP care about your airtag or honk honk I got a bridge to sell you. Junkies are the most motivated ppl I've ever met. They will literally strip a whole house worth of copper all night for 10 bucks. David Goggins not even that motivated. |
The fuck are you talking about. We live in Richmond. Half the white people here don’t even lock their back doors. They can steal it, I don’t give a shit. I’ll buy another one. |
Never seen that bike at Costco. I wonder if they have a newer version |

Yeh I got it for 1k in 2022. I gave it to spy balloon but she never used it. So it sat and sat until I returned my e-bike back to Costco(it had a flat tire on the rear) and just started using her Segway to ride to the gym. |

Been riding my escooter for a little over a year now. Tops out just over 50, it's in that nebula of too slow for the shoulder and too fast for bike paths/walkways. Only take it out if you have somewhere safe to store it/charge it at the end point. I folds but still weighs 65lbs, just barely fits in my rear seats. Got into my first wreck last week. Busted my foot. |
When I first got a set of two wheels, I had a 49cc Honda Jazz that topped out at 60km/h, or something like that. It was slow, and still is slow, but man, it was one of the best scooters I ever owned. |

Why are you still alive? |
Why do you crash so many things |
Problem with lime scooters or even the entry level E scooters like the Xiaomi, or Ninebot max is their tiny platform, and narrow twig of a handle bar. At slow speeds they are okay, but once you are going they are not stable. |
I saw a guy on a escooter wobbling down Victoria at like 50km/h. The way he did the death wobble on the lane next to me after a bump was terrifying. |
and remember, he has no insurance~~ |
Currently on a road trip in Gold River. There's fuck all nothing here, but I did have a very cool moment. We drove by Strathcona Park and Lodge, which I remember 15 years ago I distinctly said to my friend that it would be cool if we could find this road again when we're older. We were in the school bus and it was a helluva road (Hwy 28 between Campbell River and Gold River). Gonna go back and see if they'll let me explore the facilities for old times sake. https://thumbnails-photos.amazon.ca/...A3N9ZQBQ81M2ZJ https://thumbnails-photos.amazon.ca/...A3N9ZQBQ81M2ZJ https://thumbnails-photos.amazon.ca/...A3N9ZQBQ81M2ZJ https://thumbnails-photos.amazon.ca/...A3N9ZQBQ81M2ZJ https://thumbnails-photos.amazon.ca/...A3N9ZQBQ81M2ZJ |
