Late night gas up in Penticton during the Thunderbird rally. Most of the roads were pretty straightforward but the snow that started late Saturday made things pretty gnarly for the last regularity of the day. Sunday was similar on the plowed sections, but the unplowed areas were proper chaos and a lot of fun.

That was the later one! Mine won fair and square. Unfortunately we didn't win our class, but it was my codrivers second event ever and our first time using new tech so I'm pretty happy.

Are you fwd or AWD? Honestly there's not that much snow where it's challenging to move. It's more of just slush and slippery.

Can't you just air up if you're on bags? What's the big deal.

No issues with the bags so far. Put a bit of airbrake antifreeze in the airtank just in case.
Being able to raise the car to clear all the crunchy snow in alleyways is great

OEM air suspension is a can of worms enough that I don't want aftermarket air. Why would you want to pay extra to make your car even more unreliable.

just speaking from experience, after having a few air suspension cars I wouldn't recommend it. Imagine walking out in snow storm and your car won't air up. And having to limp it home with ass bottomed out on the ground.

You have a car? '

You made a comment about a $20-30K car being expensive, so I thought you were carless, let alone air suspension!

Cuz i like it. Lol
That same argument can be said for any mods.
This car was supposed to be left stock as a daily but i just couldn't resist. Wife has the boring car. Unreliability is exciting. Lol

+1000 style points when u air down and lay frame.

fr tho the heavier performance daily rides terrible unless on bags.
X5 40i is punishing on run flats.

not only do i think bags are a must but the disconnecting roll bars a must too.
who cares if it's a lease special that $500/mo, this is next owner's problem.

What was your experience with bags?

I hear they can be crazy complicated to fix, but also not that expensive to fix.

E63 was on Arnott struts.
RAM just needed a new air compressor; Mopar was selling liftetime warranties back then lmaooo

I know the WK2 Grand Cherokee ones are junk and everyone swaps them out for regular springs, but that's Chrysler quality.
