The family is Fookien -- Chinese Filipinos. What sucks is that the injuries are lost in translation in cases like this. A guy at the festival lost his young niece and his own leg, imagine what he's going through. So many nasty injuries from this whole thing. |

Why so coy with all the speculation? I mean where are you getting this stuff from? Filipino aunties Whatsapp groups? Yes a large majority of Chinese in SE Asia are of Fujian (Hokkien) descent. Me being half of one of them. But you know who else are also of majority Fujian descent? Taiwanese. |
I'm not sure what we're debating here Civic, we're saying the exact same thing. As for being coy, I've already mentioned my prior work experience and the types I can garner information from, I would never name them specifically as they could get into some serious trouble jobwise, hence leaving it vague. |
