I bought a nice pair of shoes x years ago, those that kids would "keep on a shelf" at home.
I proceeded to ride my bmx at skateparks in them, and abuse the shit out of them
I think i was at cloverdale skatepark one day, waiting for my turn, and these two skateboard guys roll up, "yoooooooooo bro you ride in those?!?!"
"Well yeah.... They arent made to sit on a shelf at home"
"Truuu truuuuuuuuu"
Probably one of the few interactions between a skateboarder and bmxer that isnt bashing or shitting on each other

I was out for dinner last night at Granville Island. The restaurant was quiet af lol. Granted, it was Remembrance Day and it isn't typically a night for going out but still it was probably a good 70% empty. They had a $55 3-course meal as a special offer and I was told this has been quite the common theme at restaurants these days to try and entice people to come out to eat.

I’ve heard it’s actually incredible. Not gonna be cheap, but I’m sure it will be exceptional. They aren’t having any trouble filling seats.
