It felt like Sherwood was the only one playing last night. Wasn't just the top line, no one looked as good was Sherwood did for basically the entire game. Something is wrong and they better figure it out asap or trades are going to happen. I'd give them a fair shot, 10-15 games before changes happen.
Other than the Calgary game, we have looked awful.

They couldn't even find a trade in the last 4 months
Yeah, that's true. But management I feel is on a shorter leash than before. We're how many years into this group? 5? They're likely going to mortgage the future to try and keep their jobs a la Benning. Granted, they've turned a lot of things around for us and done a lot better. Things can't last like this forever. Eventually someone gets the axe.
He's only 18, his time will come soon enough! Definitely earned his spot on opening roster but it should be a surprise to no one he's back in junior for now.
wish they gave him his 9 games and spread them out over a longer period with a scratch here and there. at least then he'll get to train with the team, learn from practices, attend team meetings. there's so much more to absorb just being in the environment.
I believe Sasson is being recalled and Blueger is close to returning to the line up. Having Cootes play top line minutes in all situations is what Foote determined would be the best course of action for his development. I see your point of course, but I think I agree with the coach here.
