Thing is, when this was a 991, which was a better looking car, it was 200k.

JDMDreams 07-21-2025 06:21 PM

At these prices will it even appreciate? I don't think old gt cars are limited enough for it to appreciate much. Let alone the price you're paying for a Subaru h6. It's not even exotic # of cylinders, ppl are swapping k20s in and not v12s

bcrdukes 07-21-2025 06:21 PM

Wild how a road going car is worth more than their own race cars.

Badhobz 07-21-2025 07:03 PM

but its not a collector's item! its artificially limited by Porsche to keep this piece of shit profitable. They are playing the Hermes game and making sure you buy a crap ton of garbage before you can get your hands on the thing you actually want.

At least with a birkin or a kelly you can say the "craftsmen" had to train for 10+ years under the tutelage of a master bag maker before they are even allowed to touch the handbag. Plus, each handbag takes 24h from first stitch to last and created by a single craftsmen. one craftsmen, one bag, 24h time. Its so distinctive that the professionals can tell which craftsmen made which bag based on the way they stitch, the way they cut the leather, and attention to detail.

Look at that dumb factory video i posted. Literally, a GT3 RS is coming down the same line as the regular base model 911. Same with the engines. a bunch of unionized 20-30 year old german kids randomly screwing shit together via powertools. Does this seem in any way like craftsmanship to you? This aint no Takumi product like the Japanese. this is basically a VW assembly line. Now you want 400k for it!??!??! EAT A COLLOSSAL BAG OF DICKS PLZ.

As noclue said, i can buy a roma for 200k, have another 200k in my pocket which i can then buy a x5m and a few corollas for crashing into T&T. This is utterly stupid. i dont condone this sort of greed.

JDMDreams 07-21-2025 10:18 PM

Just buy the new lc500 inspiration

Hehe 07-21-2025 10:35 PM

My money is that hobz is saying all this while secretly working for an allocation for the upcoming LFA replacement. :fuckthatshit:

Badhobz 07-22-2025 06:13 AM

WHO TOLD YOU!??!!??!

wouldnt buy the first year production anyways and like 99% of toyota "sports" cars... they'll manage to cock it up somehow.

LFA failure
LC500 failure
F lineup failure
IS500 failure
BMW Supra mk5 failure
GR Ratrolla failure

the only success recently has been the GR86/BRZ. Enough to warrant 2nd generation and all these numerous special editions.

My next car will be a bus. driven by dark0821.

bcrdukes 07-22-2025 06:14 AM

GR86 should have been a failure with the Gen 1 torque dip. :troll:

Badhobz 07-22-2025 06:15 AM

blame subaru for making a shitty flat 4. flat anything is garbage especially from porschebaru.

roastpuff 07-22-2025 08:48 AM

I wouldn't call the Supra a failure

bcrdukes 07-22-2025 09:08 AM

It's okay. Everything to Badhobz is a failure because old man.

Dont care how great and advanced synthetic oil is, I’ll never go past 10k kilometers for a change. Germans schedule at 16k and land rover tries 25k!! Service advisors says its fine for normal driving, guess what heavy stop and go city driving is not considered normal by the manufacturer. Also dont like how thin the weights are too.

bcrdukes 07-22-2025 06:02 PM

Our Corolla is at 4,300KM since its last oil change and I'm already freaking out to figure out a weekend to change the oil. Hell no to this 0W20 nonsense!

trollface 07-22-2025 06:06 PM

I change my oil every 10 days.

That's cool. How's the weather?

JDMDreams 07-22-2025 08:29 PM

You never have to change your oil if it burns or leaks, just keep adding fresh oil. :accepted:

dark0821 07-22-2025 08:37 PM

Its fine if you get rid of it before the warranty is up.

Similar thing with the s52 on the e36 m3 and s50b32. 1 quart per 1k miles. Don’t do the 8k oil changes on a car that holds 5.5 quarts please.
