VW group is the worst offender of piano black interior trim so they can circle the drain for that alone.

We saw this with Toyota Safety System and Hybrid Synergy Drive, both of which became lineup wide overnight.
They'll continue to make boring cars that meet the users' needs; they will survive.

toyota can live off that received reliability for probably a decade or more. Cracks are already showing with their new products but what are you gonna do? buy a friggin nissan kicks instead?
they can limp dick it all the way to the bank. Still the most reliable piece of shit out there, but a shadow of its former self.

There are some redeeming qualities to VW products from a usability perspective, but the way they design their cars from a mechanical perspective is garbage.
You still see old Mercs and BMWs on the road today (>30 years). You never see anything older than a MK4 on the roads (and even then, it's a TDI that is blowing blue smoke) or an Audi that is older than a first-gen TT, unless the die-hards come out with their MK2s.

Passenger screen is becoming a key feature for luxury segment.
In 5 years even pickup truck will have full width screen because they will have Level 3 self drive.
Eyes AND hands off means they can browse TikTok/Internet while on highway.

Feel like passenger screens will give motion sickness. Also a reflection on todays society where you cant just look at the world go by and constantly need to consume content

What I particularly like about Audi is their nomenclature department . Let's use even number for ICE and odd number for EV or PHEV.
At least they knew when they messed up.

I'm a little late but as a first time Audi owner, I started following this guy on IG last year and admittedly, I agree with a lot of what he says when we compare their cars from the 2010s to today.
B4 A4 and B9 A4 are examples of Audi design at its best. C8 S6 Avant is another one.
One of the reasons the car chase scene from Ronin was so good was the S8!
He's right. None of the new models excite me, either. They look less Euro and more Korean. It's like when BMW hired Chris Bangle.
I hate the new steering wheel. I agree with him when he says the removal of the badging was a dumb idea. And yes, the new key fobs are cheap looking. Those little things matter.
But honestly his film was boring. I had to skip through a lot of his film. It was way too long and he sounds sooo whiny, repeating the same points over and over. He needs to edit it down to 20 mins, max.
