Rat seems to have no luck when it comes to used cars.
I guess spent all my used car luck on my salvage titled 103k Honda! 17 years, +140k, and 20-30 track days later: only needed a timing chain tensioner, reverse gear position sensor, cam position sensor broken connector - all cheap fixes, working in a wide open engine bay. Everything else was just consumables.
What did we learn here? Poor ppl should just buy S2000s.

Pretty sure it's a scheme cooked up by the petroleum cartel. And Toyota was the key architect. What they do, is they pick random hybrids off the production line and code them to drag their electric motors and burn extra fuel. For extra gasoline profits in their pockets. And they make it just rare enough that ppl would call the victims crazy if they snitched. Or you know, refused to get vaccinated.

same.. i got a feeling its a bad individual cell, but then it would throw faults if thats the case... bad inverter? maybe..... something is fucked up.
Occam's razor: somebody had it out for the previous owner, and extensively modified the vehicle for lesser fuel efficiency while avoiding CELs so it can't be warranteed.

Actually great!
Except on hot days, the infotainment screen touches itself relentlessly.
Dirty unreliable BMW.
Although I did swap in the infotainment touchscreen from a 3 series and may have drilled into the PCB by accident and shorted something out but this is still BMW's fault.
Also sometimes the passenger seat occupancy sensor pops an error with a horrible BOnG chime. Scum bag W- VIN BMW.
Although I did spill a bunch of meat juice into said seat, and douse it in soap and water trying to wash it out. Still though. Come on!
