The whole Lana thing is over now. Everyone who follows it knows it. The past few episodes where they develop the story of Adam Knight and the life-reviving serum was a good break from the old love story/affair that never-could.

Now after their 6 week break, I would only hope they can keep building new storylines than to rehash old ones.

I don't know about you, but I watch the show for the development of Superman's character. I could give a shit about KK. (The donuts are way better)

Sorry to say but I was a huge Smallville fan in season #2. This season really sucked imo. The finale wasn't that great and I'm sick of them toying around with Clark and Lana in almost every episode. YES -- I do know they will never be together but it's stupid to use the same damn formula in every show to tease the viewers. It's okay once in awhile but it really is getting old now.

Smallville is sooooooo very predictable when you watch it.

From the start of this season? Well:

Clark was returned, in a lightening bolt fashion onto a field with no clothes. At the same time Lois Lane was driving trying to find the Kent residence, but doesn't know where they live because it's all farm country.

Clark has ammensia, so Lois takes him to the hospital, Johnathan kent is in a coma, still, but I've forgotten the length of time he's been in it. Martha spots Clark in the hospital (Gee, good one writers!) and tries to get him back, but Clark says he's Kal-el or Jor-el (forget which one he really is, they all sound the same) and he's going to conquer earth.

Meanwhile over in Egypt, Lex discovers a artifact which had kryptonian writing on it. On the way back to the plane, he's really sweating and having a hard time, once on the plane it's discovered that he has a defect in his blood from all the poison in the brandy which he drank. So his blood's being cleaned, there's turbulence and the artiface breaks which reveals a crystal.

At this point jor-el/kal-el pulls a new trick out for season 4, he can fly. Taking off like a rocket he flies to Lex's place, rips out the door at 21,000 feet and steals the crystal (but oh no, nobody saw him!) and leaves for the caves.

He does some open sesame trick with signals which opens a room and places the crystal, but there's room for 2 more, clue what will happen during season 4 I'm sure (seems like writers are running out of ideas). *meanwhile*

Martha kent called up christopher reeves to help, but he sent his worker to give black kryptonite and said "...mothers love will break the hold" so martha heads out to the caves. Where she finds kal-el/jor-el! so somewhere inside after martha says "i love you" a fight between clark and kal-el breaks out, lasts 15 seconds when martha gives the black kryptonite, and the battle is over, Clark wins, but doesn't remember how to fly! at the same point johnathan wakes up.

Yeah last episode was sweet. Introducing the Flash. The best is at the very end when him and Clark are racing...Bart turns around, waves goodbye, and BOOM goes like 10 times faster. haha Clark was blown away.

Wasn't the flash one of the founding members of the JLA? So it's awesome that the writers are nodding towards the larger DC universe.

I miss all the critical episodes though, so I don't know about these tattoes, Ka-el or Evil Clark or any of the episodes that really count towards the *big* story arc. For some reason I only see the episodes that don't really matter. Ah well.

I just saw the "Transference" episode - where Clarke and Lionel switch bodies. It's pretty recent cause Lionel is in prison...but how new is it?

What do you guys think the deal is with those stones? If Clarke puts them in the triangle in the caves, will he get ultimate power (like the cell mate in the prison said?) Why do you think that mark is appearing everywhere (The one on Lana's back, etc)

Kind of cool episode, but it's kinda hokey how Clarke remembers everything, but Lionel doesn't. Unless Lionel was lying about that.

Something's not right about these stones. Where's Earth? There's four elements in ancient times, not 3. And Earth is a pretty important element.

My guess right now (strictly a guess): These 3 symbols will relate to 3 characters and will all be brought together near the season finale. Probably will have something to do with the characters unlocking something. With Lana and Clark as 2 probables, third i would guess as Lex or Lionel.

It's kinda cool how they're introducing a lot of the other characters in Superman's world, like the Flash, Lois, Mxylplttk, et cetera, but they sure are rushing it. They aren't providing any sort of background or character introduction; like they show up and jump right in to the climax of the story, but no introduction.

Anyway, at the end of the episode, anybody know what Lex ment "see, I told you you aren't alone" to Mxylpltk, and what was up with that little smirk Lex gave Clarke at the end. Is Lex finally beginning to take some serious control like Lionel had been?

The flash is WAY faster than superman. Did you see at the end of the Flash episode when they were racing, the Flash turned around, waved (while running backwards) and then just took off like 10 times faster than what they were already going. He decimated Clarke.

I have a few issues of the Flash comic, where he goes faster than the speed of light. He dies, but he said that he always had the ability to go how fast he wants, no limits. Superman just runs fast...he cant even run over water! pfff.

Its gonna be Chloe because since she wants to work at the Daily Planet how is Lois supposed to work there? I think she decides to work there as a tribute to Chloe's death. Also, Lana marries Pete Ross in the future so she can't die. Smallville somewhat has to stick to the original Superman storyline.
