Sorry to say but I really miss the good ol' Smallville back in the first 3 seasons. Back when there was tension between Clark and Lana. That was the main reason I watched smallville. The subplots are a joke. Lex and Lana? Come the fuck on! Who would've predicted that during the first season. NOT ME! And now Kara? Don't get me wrong she's hot and good eye candy but do you expect me to believe that she arrives from Krypton, wakes up on Earth 19 years later and learns to speak coherent english? Did I miss the part where she went to school in her cryogenic state? I don't know about you but this series is becoming laughable.

i guess what a few people in this thread need to realize is that smallville is loosely based on the superman comics and as such, so are other various characters and aspects of the show (ie. names of the kryptonians and the martian manhunter). we should also be seeing more of the comics in smallville since this is supposed to be the last season..i could be wrong on that though, but i remember reading it somewhere

Last episode was pretty good, but the episode before with the electric shock testing on "meant-to-be" couples was really something.
The best scenes are when Lois and Clark get together, you can really get some good laughs from them, they're sweet.

Yea there was Part 1 and Part 2, each was an hour long. Part 1 aired in the 1st hour, part 2 aired in the second hour. We ended up filming Part 2 of the Finale before we filmed Part 1 Finale, episodes 19 and 20. Our post production VFX team actually was working on the Finale episodes until 2 days before air date.
