it is, except every once in a while theres a new stage not from the ds version.

I think its so much more intuitive with the dial to choose your tool. There are new gameplay then the ds version. There is one where you need to do surgery in the dark and the only light u get are snapshots of the camera light. If you play further into the game u get to use the female.

But doing it all over with BOTH hands makes it feel so much closer to virtual reality. Plus better graphics... sound is like the same, lol! Basically, if you liked DS version, you'll like this too.

man i love this game, graphics and characters looks very decent even tho it does not support wide screen..

Already beat zelda, Dragonabll is pretty much done...all the main story line, Elebits i beat 20 levels got a little tired, supermonkey ball single player story mode is gay, all u do is roll tat ball...and itz super hard to control the direction. Super swing golf is cool but super difficult when u go head on with the cpu, Ramond same repetitve shit after 60% of the game completed..

after around 40hrs + of playin on this console i have encountered 2 times of disconnect problem on the wii remote, like when i try to connect to the console the blue lights on the remote lights up, yet the console does not detect anything. i tried hitting that red button and the one on the remote..nth. My friend said he read on the manual to hold the red button on the console for 15 seconds than reconnect....tried tat and still no. (i fixed it the first time after resetting/power ON/OFF a couple times) my friend encountered once.


Other friend had problem with connectin as well as while the console is reading the game it makes a kind of weird noise.

I think when your player 1 cursor starts going blurry blue it means that its time to change batteries.. "I think" at least i noticed that twice when my batteries were gonna die out.

NONo im on my 2nd-3rd set of brand new batteries.


As for the ppl that replied towards this problem, i clicked on HOME while im in a game, my battery status shows FULL! and i just put in these new batteries not too long ago, have about 10-12hrs o it..

i calculated it out with VIBRATE turned off each set of good brand name batteries should last u around 20hrs - or + depending..

FIrst time i was like ^#$@#$#$ wat the hell is this, so i reset, turn power on /off nothing...unplug the power cord than it finally reconnect.


2nd time i tried pressing red button like my friend told me for 15 seconds and didnt really do the trick, so i just said fuck it and turned off the console. Next day i wanted to play again turn it on it still doesnt wonna connect, thatz when i tried hitting that red button for 15 seconds and finally everything went back to normal

I still have all my old consoles, but I don't have the space to hook them all up to play my old games. Playing on the computer is not the same as playing on the TV, especially when it's a 52".

Right now, the only games that interest me are SMB and SF2. I might get Mario64 since I never played that. But damn, that's a 1000 point download. NES games are 500 pts, I think those should be way way less since you probably onlyl play them a few times before you get bored of them.

There are no HDMI cables for the Wii.
Best you can get is component.

Personally, I didn't notice a BIG difference going from standard to OEM Nintendo component cables on my DLP TV. You can buy 3rd party component cables, but the OEM Nintendo ones are $40 including tax, so might as well get those.

i noticed about 15%-20% of difference switching from COmponent vs standard cable tat came with the Wii
this was on a 42" Sharp Aquos LCD HDTV. i was playing zelda and did a compairson with the two cables by switching back and forth while on the same screen. WIth component the picture was brighter and sharper, while with standard cable the picture was much more blurry

yup.. i called shaw they said its not compatible w/ sharp tv aquos.. they said maybe a firmware for the shaw hd box will fix it but they dont know when they will or if they will update firmware..

It depends on the game, it tells you before you download the game. Most NES games can be played with the Wiimote, but you can use the other controllers.

I had tat similar problem on my gamecube controller. Ijust kinda press all the buttom and it didnt get stuck after.


Or try DISCONNECT all controllers, than press red button on wii and reconnect everything back up

Try again with a different controller, if it still happens at least u know itz not the controller problem

did that already. the other wii mote is fine. I'm 99% sure it's the d-pad, because I only have this problem in Wii Sports and not in Rayman (which doesn't use the dpad at all).

I beat it in a day. Rent it if you're just going to blast through the one player and let it collect dust. But I'm sure the multiplayer is lots of fun.

This is also a great example of what you can do with the wiimote. This is a much better demo of it's abilities than wii sports.

i actually let it whip once playing bowling of all things. i wanted to learn how to spin the ball so i put some extra juice into it and the next thing i know the remote was gone. lucky i had the strap on so i didn't take out my window.

Wario ware is a fun game, the only problem with this version of it is, you only use ONE Wiimote, YES ONE, My Friend and i beat this game in 2 hours but playing the multiplayer games are pretty hillarious, the best one we think is Lifeline, If you have friends and want to laugh a lot, play the dancing one, i had to play that and that was embarrasing..

The good:
fun game
makes you have shiets and giggles with friends

the bad:
too little games
multiplayer is ok not as great as the GC version
you use only one controller

8/10

i only noticed this after i connected online to download some games. also i noticed that when it is orange/yellow that it does generate a fair amount of heat. not to the point where its the same temp when on..but definately hotter than off.

News in general from the AP. It's pretty cool. Theres even a map option so you can float around the world reading their articles. No Vancouver node at the moment... only Seattle and Calgary. The Pickton trial is listed as New West so I don't think the map knows where it is heh.

so recently i experienced another type of funky problem with my Wii

on my wii so far probably nearly 100hrs playin time on it

and just recently i was updating my Wii this morning tryin to get the news going..while it was close to 80% downloading/uploading it froze there for like 10 minutes without moving so i was like wtf. I tried reset and everything...nothined worked...so i had to turn the power off.


later on the night i was surfing RS with the Wii, and one of the thread had a lot of pics to load in it, and it froze up...well maybe if i waited 2 minutes it might still have a chance to recover..but i ddint wait and i tried power button nth..so i had no choice but to unplug the power cord
