Drivers, who are stopped briefly at a stop sign, that try to turn right into a street expecting the vehicles in front of them to stop for them.

Where the fuck is your patience and obedience to the traffic rules? Stop behind the stop sign and wait for your turn to turn right when there is a safe distance to turn right!

Idiotic, impatient drivers with a sense of entitlement!

I see many drivers pull this stunt every day in the Lower Mainland. SUV and truck drivers are the worst with this bad habit!!

I just speed up on the road to ensure that driver facing the stop sign cannot just cut right in front of me and ignore the stop sign. :lawl:
(Sorry for hijacking your rant)

Richmond is a great example of this. Anywhere around Aberdeen LOL. I wouldn't be so mad if they sped the fuck up after they turned out, but nah they taking it slow anyway. What was the point?

pedestrians, joggers, etc who walk on the road despite there being one or two unoccupied sidewalks??? i get that some roads only have one sidewalk but how hard is it to cross the road when you get to where you need to cross? Is it hard as a group to travel in single file or pairs on the sidewalk?? They're literally in the lane of travel as they're walking on the road past parked cars.

^ there's an older guy here on a mobility scooter who will do that. He'll use the bike lanes, but if there's no bike lane he just goes down the road, instead of using the massive sidewalks on each side of the road. I'm not sure if he's mentally ill or a prick.

There are right turn lanes that are also HOV lanes.

One time, my buddy was in the right turn lane on Grandview Hwy towards boundary. The moment he changed lane just before the Wendy's entrance, a bicycle cop pulled him over. The officer stated that he is not suppose to make a lane change until he does the turn. This was during rush hour. True story.

I'm not sure if it's a provincial law or a bylaw, but here you're allowed 2 blocks in the HOV lane before/after a turn.

- People who are busy talking/ texting and stand on the corner of the street. Sometimes I yell out the window if they are going to cross or not. Stand back and doing your thang.

- People who mistake you for an employee. For example; When I go to Costco I usually bring my gloves (we usually buy our stuff there) and people think when you move boxes of romaine lettuce, you must work there. When you don't give them the bag of lettuce that is in YO hands, they get mad. I should get a t shirt with the back saying "No, I do not work here." but then again I like to fuck with them and then tell them I don't work there. The face changes from "Customers are always right" to "Oh sorry, you don't work here?". Love that shit.

- Cars that slow down too much(or better yet, brake) for no reason when going uphill. Looking at you, Prius taxis.

- People who are capable of walking fast that take too much time to cross the street.

- Cyclists that ignore traffic rules and think they are better than cars.

- BC Transit in Victoria in general. Slow(good luck going anywhere on weekends), unreliable, expensive for a public transit system, and tried to run into me twice. I have never called buses bad names before coming to Victoria, but now every time I see one, I say them.

This is gonna be something that grinds most people's gears

Sorry in advance to anyone I piss off when I stall. Learning manual.

This reminded me of the time when I first learned MT in an old Corolla, ho boy.

One night, I stalled like 4 times in a row. Reason? Forgot to put the car in first gear(a thing I always forgot in the beginning; it was in third when I tried to get it moving). There was no car behind me, though.

Another day, I stalled 3 times or so in a row. It was on a fairly steep hill, so I ended up panicking and stalling a lot. The lady with a new Accord behind me was super nice and patient though, never honked or anything, just waited until I moved away. Really wanted to shout a loud "Thank you!"

For this reason, I tend to be a bit more patient if it looks like the person in front of me is a MT noob that stalled. We all go through that stage, and it's great to see someone taking up this art. It won't really grind my gears; hopefully, you don't grind yours, heh. :wiggle:

Watch out for pickup trucks and Jeeps though. They tend to be more impatient and honk at you if you stall. Some Prius taxis also can be aholes about it.

I don't know why, but trucks always stop as close as possible to me in traffic. Not a big deal in an auto, but when I was learning to drive stick (with my L no less) I did my first burnout by accident trying not to roll back into a truck that was way too close to me.

Gym observations:

1.) Just because you have a bigger and better looking physique than I, doesn't mean you get to hog a rack or station for an hour. Fuck off and come late at night or early morning when there's fewer bodies. We all pay membership fees so we're all entitled to use the equipment.

Or buy your own rack you cheap fuck.

2.) People who don't put their weights away. Why are you unnecessarily creating an obstacle course for me? This is not part of my workout routine. I'd take up tango if I wanted to move around all the shit on the floor. You must keep your home like this you pig.

Fucking grates on my balls even more when TRAINER'S leave shit all over the place. Bitch, lead by example!

3.) When I go to a vacant machine and start working out and someone comes out of nowhere Randy Orton style and says "I was using that".

BITCH, your fucking shit is scattered around that machine 15 feet away. Come back when this machine is vacant again you fuckstick.

Also:

You'd be surprised at how many people don't even know what a MT even is. My boss told me that when he was drunk one day, a guy offered to drive his car home. Hopped in, saw the 12345R and asked him what the thing is...

I think we all did accidental burnouts on hills when we started learning. I did one in my old Corolla before I got the handbrake trick down.

I don't get why they have it bright in the beginning and then dim in the end.

Like at night it's full bright at the tunnel entrance wtf so blinding, then it gets dim, maybe half bright, at the end.

And during the day, especially on a bright sunny day, it's like half bright at the entrance and dim dim at the end, or even just dim all the way.

How are you supposed to adjustyour eyeballs like that

Why can't they just have the tunnel consistently lit front to end, and bright during the day and dim at night?

Here is a new one: people who don't know how to use washing machines. Yep.

The dumb girls upstair always clog up the washing machine because they put the washing powder in the wrong place. It specifically says on the washing machine where to put the powder and where to put the detergent.

They also complained that the hot water costs too much, so the landlord turned off the hot water going to the washing machine. Fair enough.

Yet they and the people living next door always forget to not use the warm water mode, and the washing machine quits working because of low water pressure. Seriously, it's not hard to press an extra button.

It's not rocket science, folks.

I think we all did accidental burnouts on hills when we started learning. I did one in my old Corolla before I got the handbrake trick down.

Well its been about a month and a bit. Hills and the fear of rolling back is still a little stressful. I can tackle most hills now, but I still haven't tried Kingsway x Boundary or Joyce x Kingsway, because I usually just drive slow and try to keep moving when it's red, then gas it when its green LOL

Honestly, I can confidently say I can hill start. When there are no cars behind me LOL. Accidental burnouts and launches were definitely a thing in North Van and on Terminal Ave -> 1st Ave in heavy traffic.

... Reason? Forgot to put the car in first gear(a thing I always forgot in the beginning; it was in third when I tried to get it moving) ...

Another day, I stalled 3 times or so in a row...

It won't really grind my gears; hopefully, you don't grind yours, heh. :wiggle:

Shortly after posting this, I stalled 3 times in row on River Road, the tiniest hill. Initially, I always forgot that I needed to shift to second LOL. Coming from a CVT I'm used to the drone, and well not needing to shift.

There are times when I accidentally put it into 3rd instead of 1st, because the damn shifter in the 330ci is so sloppy. 5th looks like 3rd, 4th looks like 2nd, 3rd looks like 1st, and reverse you have to slam in.

Also I had my first gear grind last night FeelsBadMan fml

What figuratively grinds me gears is my failure in doing the proper procedures in buying a car. I let my emotions get too far into this, and it was more me fanboying the car than checking it out. Shocks are shot, and as a result I'm more slammed than I'm used to. Actually, anything is more slammed, I came from stock civic height.

The irony here is that I don't even like slammed cars, yet I bought one. Sucks tho, cause everytime I hit a dip, I either rub, or in last night's case, the entire lip and bumper tore off. Fuck.Hand brake trick is pretty much mandatory on steeper hills. In a lot of countries with a separate license for MT drivers, hand brake start is on the driving test.

Pull up the handbrake, release the clutch to the engagement point, and rev to about 2k(higher if the hill is real steep), put down your handbrake, and slowly let the clutch out. If done right, you won't have burnout, burn your clutch or roll back at all. Try it on a small hill first.

I remember screwing up a couple of days ago. I started my RX-8 in 2nd gear on a slight slope. It felt really sloppy, then I looked at the shifter. Oops.

One of my friends said he prefers those manual shifters with a solid cover with the pattern on it. That way, it's super easy to tell which gear you are in, and it's less likely to misshift.

Too much coordination, I was never good at sports or COD either. I dont burn the clutch, unless it's a really big hill, but I do have to ride it a lot.

What really figuratively grinds my gears is when you forget you're in gear and you let off the clutch, thus stalling.

If you are stuck in stop and go with a manual or dual clutch, don't move inch by inch. It's bad for the clutch. Avoid riding your clutch as you get better.

And very occasionally I still have the "Oops, I am still in gear" moment. It just happens.

What annoys me even more than theft, is poorly executed theft. It's bad enough someone broke into my car, but instead of just popping the lock or smashing the window they decided to smash out the door handle and lock and completely mangle the door in the process. Now instead of just replacing a window (pretty easy) I have to replace the entire bleeping door.

- Everyone sucks at driving and parking. Fuck the Asian stereotype shit, everyone sucks ass. I got two looks because how I got out of the car. BECAUSE YOU PARKED OVER THE LINE.

- Older men and women complaining they have to wait in line at Dollarama for more than 5 minutes. Asking why there isn't a third cashier BECAUSE IT COST MONEY AND THEY ARE ON THEIR BREAK. Can't wait? fuck off.

Then again sometimes you meet nice people that will help each other. Either by helping an elderly grab a box of cookies on the top shelf. Or help a lady with a big bag of groceries at Costco. Salt is strong this month. Hope you guys have a great weekend.

I was going through the McDonalds drive through and there was an asian woman in front in her Mercedes, holding her cigarette out the window, smoking, with her kid in the backseat. Self satisfaction > children's wellbeing?

Later, i was at the transfer station. Saw a couple pull in with their rental van. As they were unloading, their kid gets out and starts wandering around, shouting something trying to get her dad's attention. the attendant had to come over and tell her to get back in the vehicle. Even if they didn't see the big sign stating children and pets must stay in vehicle, they actually thought it was ok to let their kid get out and walk around the garbage dump?

Kid was probably 4 or 5, whining and screaming because she wanted something and the parents wouldn't give it to her. Good on them for not giving it to her, but ignoring it wasn't any better.

I was just about done with them, after a long drive back from Portland with a 2 hr wait at the border, that was the last thing I needed.

I'm pretty sure about that age or even earlier, my parents would scold me if I ever whined in public. Either we stfu and behave, or we don't go out. Even my kid brother, when he was 3 or 4, they would walk all of us out of any establishment and scold us. If we were eating out, we would be scolded at the dinner table, then again when we're in the car.

I guess this is why certain groups of people (big 6) are whiny cunts when they've gotten older.

Smoking in Vehicles – To help protect children from second-hand smoke while they are passengers in motor vehicles, the Motor Vehicle Act states that no one may smoke in a vehicle that has a passenger under the age of 16. Tobacco smoke is particularly harmful to the developing system of a young child. As with other violations of the Motor Vehicle Act, enforcement of the legislation is the responsibility of local police departments and the RCMP. Then the government has to waste money to develop new regulations for manufacturers to follow, all because people are too stupid to figure out how the light switch in their vehicle works.

New safety rules aim at 'phantom vehicles' running at night without lights - Politics - CBC News (http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/tail-lights-head-lamps-safety-phantom-vehicle-transport-canada-regulations-crash-1.4279458)

The federal government is targeting the growing number of "phantom vehicles" that pose a safety hazard on Canada's roads and highways.

Transport Canada says many Canadians have written to the department warning about the dangers of vehicles that travel in the dark without their tail lights illuminated, making them hard to spot.

The reason? Daytime headlights and dashboard lights are automatically lit when most modern vehicles are started, and too many drivers erroneously assume their tail lights are also illuminated when darkness falls.

"The vehicle's illuminated dashboard can give the driver a false sense that their outside lights are activated, when they are not," says a memo to Transport Minister Marc Garneau.

"The department has received a continuous high influx of letters from the driving public raising concerns about the increasing amount of phantom vehicles on the roads."

People who can't make up their mind ordering at a restaurant and they have to ask what the server recommends then follows up with a question of "If you were me what would you order?" and "Is this good?" Order goes on for a full 7 minutes before order a god damn burger and a salad. How fucking uninspired do you have to be to not even be able to order food according to your own taste and you settle for the most basic lunch?

First world problems when you can't even decide what you feel like eating.

Physically the diesel nozzle is larger than unleaded gasoline, so if you can't fit it in the filler, that should give you the sign.

I have seen multiple people tow in their cars to my old work to drain the gas tank because they somehow accidentally filled diesel into the gas tank. How they managed, idk lmao. Probably just held the nozzle at the lip of the filler neck LOL

Common courtesy and manners are not considered amongst others and the bosses. It's always a cringy moment when he talks or behaves. From eating like a horse to being selfish when there's a company lunch. Boss was like wtf? Where's the food when he come to grab some, the guy's plate is literally a mountain.

He wants a gf yet doesn't go out on weekends. :fulloffuck:

Doesn't help that he has a monotone voice, every time he tries to tell a joke... *cringe*.

Kids here don't realize that when it comes to companies relocating, they just move and tell you to deal with it after. It's VERY considerate that the bosses brought it up with just over a year left and wanting to hear what their opinions are. They've said that near my location is ideal and has 80% chance. Right off the bat, fat fuck started having conversations with others and made is such a big fuckin deal (the new location would make his commute easier), looking for alternative locations talking how bad the location is. Like holy shit, the decision hasn't been finalized yet.

Fuck I wanna slap these silver spoon fed kids.

Works part-time 2-3 days a week and taking like one course a time, doesn't pay shit living at home. My parents are retired, can't take care of her rest of their lives with their fixed government old pensions.

I know it takes time for people to get their shit together with their lives, we are all different, but working part time and cruising along thinking parents will take care of them absolutely pisses me off. At the very least put some "effort" in life.

Euro, I would talk to her. You're siblings.... if you guys can't be real with each other even if it will hurt feelings, who will? You are allowed to say something if you feel she's taking advantage of your parents.

I've been getting kicked out of my house since I was 14. So I learned from an early age to be living at home for free is a privilege. As soon as I started working full time, I've been paying rent, pitching in for groceries, lending my mom money and would front money for her loans.

Your sister is lucky to have a stable home and support, the ability to go to school. She needs to realize this. Sometimes tough love is absolutely necessary.

You and your parents will have to be on the same page. She should start paying rent, for her own groceries then get the fuck out. At 30, she needs to learn to be independent or it will cripple her in the long run when she has no one to take care of her.

Lol that's too bad. They're wrong for that... if her husband were to leave her, she'd have to learn in her forties or fifties how to be self sufficient? Plus it's very rare men nowadays will commit to a partner who has nothing to offer/no life experience.

My motto in life when it comes to these kind of situation is, tell them once, and if they don't listen, let them be. If it's family and if it's not going to kill them, just let things play out until the straw breaks. People will never learn until they see the darker side of things.

Playing God and pulling strings by instigating her parents to kick her out may not be the best solution. What if they kick her out and she started whoring herself for money? Or start doing ups/downs? Like I always say, the grass may not always be greener on the other side, and while it's green on this side, cherish it. Some people just don't have a mentality as strong as others. And since she's not mentally prepared, forcing her to move out and be independent will only result in her moving back with her parents. You can argue that there is a reality that everyone needs to face, but not everyone can face it at the same time as everyone else can.

Everything in life is meant to be. Good and bad things will happen to a person, and at the most accurate time whether they like it or not. Call it destiny, faith, or whatever you want. You can't evade it, you can only learn from it. In other words, let nature play it out.

Plus.....what about her parents? I have an older brother, and I have no problem whatsoever laying his ass out when necessary. As siblings, you have the right to speak the truth to each other, even if it's brutal.

She's 30 years old, fully capable of working full time and pitching in for the house. Her parents are on pension....and they need to worry for themselves at some point. Pension pay is not much at all to survive on......... it's not fair to them.

Again, maybe they could give her time to get some money together. But if Euro is correct and she doesn't help financially at home and works part time.....why wouldn't she have money saved? That's the whole point of her parents still taking care of her to begin with.

I'll have to sympathize with the parents. Personally, I believe if you have nothing physically/medically holding you back from working and earning your keep at 21 years old and up.....then it should be done.

I don't believe in coddling women of age. It creates a victim mentality where they become unable to take responsibility for themselves. If you have people holding your hand and babying you anytime you really should be taking responsibility for yourself, is that helping them......or crippling them for their future?

Destiny, faith, Universal Design....there is no excuse to be rude, inconsiderate and live off your parents completely if you are fully capable of taking care of yourself. I'm a glass half full type of person. I believe people are strong within and they can unleash it when given the opportunity.

If I could survive getting kicked out at 14, and all the numerous times after that, without resorting to prostitution or drugs....why wouldn't an educated 30 year old who already has a job be able to?

1) If my family were Caucasian, would have booted her ass long time ago. It allows the kids to realize living isn't easy out there and learn to be independent. My parents came to Canada in their early 20's and started working for $2/hour back then, times were tough as they had to scratch and crawl their way through.

2) My parents have done their fair share in helping as best as they could, this can't continue on forever. E.g. Average rent is $1500 in Vancouver x 12 months x 5 yrs (assuming she took life serious and starting working full-time at age of 25, age people finish college/university, give and take) = $90K potentially worth of money my parents put into her pockets, which she could utilized for a down payment of her own place.

3) As parents become older, so much uncertainty. What if they aren't here tomorrow, then what? She has no planning for her future because she's being pampered with a zone of comfort. I'm not instigating my parents to kick her out, but she needs to realize things don't continue the same "forever". Heck, my parents could be like, sell house tomorrow to downsize into a smaller place, at that point, she would be royally screwed with no place to live. My parents can't be her plan A/B/C...

Your parents are partly to blame as well. Not saying this to negate them being good people or anything, so please don't take it as such.
They have allowed her to go further and further into a lifestyle of dependance that it will be nearly impossible for her to get out of it without being forced to. Its on them to tell her, you either pay rent, or get the fuck out. Its not that they need to give up helping her, but they have to at least take away some of the advantages she is taking from them, because she sure isn't going to give them up herself. She has had this behaviour instilled into her by continuing to be rewarded for it.

I had a friend parents give their kids "x period of time" to get their shit together or else they'll sell house and force them to move out. Kids thought parents were trolling and one day, for sale sign outside house. Well, if she is educated, why is she freaking out? There is a line between mental issue and being educated. She obviously has some sort of mental issue and this does not equate to the fact that if she is educated, she won't do stupid things like drugs and stuff. And trust me, when family neglect their child, the child will very likely do stupid things.

As for her parents, we are not sure if they are paying for her meals. If they are not, then I don't see the problem of her being there THAT big that should result in ruining family relationship. If the parents have a room for her to sleep, but she's paying for everything else with her part time pay cheque, then her parents isn't really losing anything. In fact, they are gaining the peace of mind that their daughter is safe at home. If her parents ARE paying for her meals, then that is a problem the parents have to deal with. A lot of Asian parents will support their kids, complain about it, tell them they need to move out, etc. etc. but still continue to support them. It's like a love and hate relationship.

Like I said, everyone is different and although I do agree with you that everyone is capable of living on their own if they push their limits. However, we can't expect people to see it from our point of view.

This problem is exactly like if you had a 1 year old learning to walk, you'd let them do it on their own and if they fall, you would help them back up. The difference here is, she hasn't learned to walk on her own yet, so you can't force them to, otherwise they'll just fall and you'd have to go and pick them back up again. And by falling, I mean literally going broke, jobless, and homeless.

Everyone has different ways when dealing with these kind of things. If the problem is life threatening, then it shouldn't be resolved immediately, rather let it play out and see where it goes. Her parents may not like her living at home at 30, but I am sure they still care about her with all their heart and hope the best for her. And a part of them wants her there just because they're family.

^^ the parents have already told her they want her to get a full time job and want her out. Theyre just soft. I dont think she has a mental issue. If she did have a mental issue, why would her parents want her out? Lol. Dude shes just spoiled. I know girls older than me who are just spoiled bitches and they act like it to their parents. My cousins sis in law refused to go to a family reunion because her dad wouldnt buy her a BMW M5 outright. She works in insurance and we all know damn well she makes stacks of money. She doesnt pay rent, doesnt buy groceries, doesnt buy her own cars. Shes not mentally handicapped...shes SPOILED lol. She started so much shit with the whole family eventually the dad caved and gave her his bank info.....and she got that M5 that same day. Then she went on that family vacation.....which her parents also paid for.

If her family suspected she had a mental issue, why would Euro come in here and ask for advice? Your argument is moot if she is of sound mind.

Ok again, their parents are retired, on pension. If theyve already asked her to do more, obviously thats what they want. And again, she has a job. Shes been working part time for a while meaning shes had time to save up in her familys eyes. She could rent a room if she really had to leave or if she was smart could offer to pay rent and for her own groceries and still live there. If she can work 2-3 times a week, theres no reason that money cant go to her parents. Obviously her being home is having a negative effect on her parents. If they are stressed about money because theyre having a hard time taking care of themselves, is that fair? Theyve done their time. You become an adult by 18 and are capable of acting like one if you arent mentally challenged.

Im all for being understanding but if shes not special needs she has no excuse. You can be kind and understanding at the same time as being firm. Yes everyone handles things differently, i recognize that. But if youre still living off your parents at 30 years old, thats quite excessive and i would still question WHY.

The parents pay for the house shes living in therefore she should respect their wishes. Bottom line. You dont cater to children. Thats how they grow up to be assholes.

If the family relationship is ruined...again thats up to her entirely. She can choose to resent her family for kicking her out of the nest or like you said, she could realize its happening for a reason due to destiny and learn from it.

Euro, if your sister has a mental illness can you please let us know? That will obviously change my answer to the situation.

Mr_chin, youre speaking as if shes someone who has not had years of advantages but Euro has portrayed the situation that she has had much help from her family over the years. Obviously if she did not have a job, didnt have savings, wasnt working for at least 5 years already then ok be lenient and give more time. But at the VERY LEAST, respect your parents.

I never stated that her parents dont care for her, but there is a thing as caring TOO MUCH. If theyre shielding her from reality and the real world now, do you even understand how hard it will be for her to adapt when shes older? Her attitude/ways of thinking will be ingrained very deeply already.

Lol. Okay, maybe mental issue was an exaggeration but she definitely has issues. Be it spoiled or not, you can already conclude that she doesn't have that strong of a mentality to deal with her issues. Hence why she lashes out on her parents. And if they force her out, God knows what she could resort to for income.

We were all a child once. She is still a child, regardless of her age. My parents were divorced when I was 12. When I was 19, my dad did not support me financially when I was going to school. I resorted to selling crack for money and dropped out of school. And like Euro7r said, living in Vancouver is not cheap and forcing her out to be on her own while she's not ready, isn't going to help her at all. At the same time, keeping her at home isn't either. But which one do you think is better? Let her slowly get her way there or force her to do it? If you ask me, I'd go with the former as it is not life threatening or anything.

She doesnt have a strong mentality because she was never given the opportunity to develop one. Shes been coddled for her whole life, she doesnt know what real rent is out there...lol shed know if she even just browsed rentals on CG.

Yes but again those are all personal choices. Destiny can only step in so far. I could have sold ecstasy to my friends when I was 14/15. I could have owned my own cocaine line in Burnaby 5 years ago. I was given those opportunities but even with the debt Im in, i said no. Its just not worth it to me. Ive been around drugs and drug dealers my whole life and while im not afraid - its just not the life for me. Money is money, jobs are jobs. I can always make money and im not obsessed with owning nice things or saving face. I live comfortably within my means and im very happy.

She needs to experience a little fear. Ive already said it doesnt even have to come to kicking her out, but she can at least pay rent/groceries and release that financial burden off her parents if thats what they choose. If shes currently affecting the quality of life of her parents, then i have a very deep problem with that ingrained in my roots. I buried myself into the ground helping my parents. So when people have loving, helpful parents and are not grateful for that.... It annoys me on another level lol.

To clarify, she doesn't have mental issues lol. Just doesn't like to be told what to do or how to live her life, short tempered. All parents nag their kids, no matter what age. My parents simply nag because they just want the best for her. There's no gain in it for my parents. Whatever path she chooses, it's up to her.

She isn't causing mental grief or trouble at home, except the financial aspect of things. Parents pay for her car, insurance, cost of living at home etc. To me, she can move her ass upstairs to the guest room and parents can rent the suite downstairs for extra cash income. My parents government pensions are good to cover the basic living expenses, but there's always those "throw you out of nowhere expenses" that they can't afford to pay. E.g. Something breaks down and needs fixing/replacing.

Worst of all, doesn't do shit at home. Doesn't even make a single effort to do some house chores even living for free. Comes and goes into her room like a hotel everyday.

If she's working her ass off, busting 100% effort left and right, at least I can see she wants to get "somewhere" in life. But just chilling and cruising everyday, well that chilling and cruising will eventually come to a halt and that's the scary part on what's next.

Thanks guys for your input. I know we are all different, great discussion!

I know I'm not the best brother in the world, always busy with my own stuff growing up and never set a role model example to my sister. Right when I finished school, all I did was spend time busting my ass off to get to a decent working position today. I'll figure something out with family to make it work with this issue.

Oddly me and her are less than 2 yrs apart in age and I had zero support. Just very odd how me and her are two different extremes. That' just life I suppose?

^^ euro im also pretty strong headed myself. When i was living at home i didnt do anything. My mom did my laundry, my dad washed dishes and cooked. I would try to help but my parents didnt really trust me lol. My dad thinks me and my mom could burn water and he hovers directly behind me if im trying to do something so i just let him have his kitchen lol. I had a short temper with my parents.... That changed when i moved out. Some space is always good. Sometimes when youre in each others face every day its a lot easier to lose your temper and say regretful things. Now im living with my bf, ive become my parents and now I do everything while my bf doesnt lift a finger. So i understand now my parents frustration with me as well.

Once she starts doing more things for herself and truly gains independence, hopefully she will realize how much your parents have helped her. I truly hope when she matures that she shows them gratitude. They sound like awesome parents to have albeit a bit soft. But its good thing that they show they love her. Not everyone has that luxury :)

Added: usually the youngest is more babied and the oldest is required to have their shit together sooner. For my family, my mom babied my brother..first born and a son. I was expected to be self sufficient sooner but they always told stories that ive been more independent as a baby/toddler so maybe its something just in me as a person too. Good luck with everything :)

I may have found how it got in today, and I found some dried poop so I know I'm closing in on it. I moved the live trap near where I think it came in (on the outside) and left a sticky trap where the poop was. I can't get access to the one area I can hear it running around in the most so I might just drill a hole in the ceiling and put a pot light in there later (the rest of the basement has pot lights so it'd match).

Probably people trying to break into the underground. Used to happen a lot when I lived near Central Park

I feel like I phrased that very inconveniently. I meant someone literally backed into to my garage (I live in a townhouse). But this is pretty much expected because this is Richmond, and I live at the end.

Fuuuu. You'd think they would design some extra space in the lane for turning around at the end

You'd also think that they wouldn't install the concrete stoppers so close up, and people can actually figure out if they clear or not. But nope. Even people with SUVs park like assholes even tho they can clear.

I'm seriously debating on getting two step, cause I'm tired of using my horn LOL.

Gotdam Nissan and their stupid cabin filters. Who the fuck's great idea was it to design the filter door ~60% of the width of the filter itself?? Stick the filter in and *hopefully* it expands back into full size. Every other time you get one, it's been jammed in by the last guy, the other times it's fallen into the filter housing sideways and you gotta fish it out somehow. So frustrating.

I guess this adds to the list of reasons not to get a Nissan.

Both the Honda Accord Coupe and Mazda RX-8 make the filter change extremely simple, and the doors are not stupidly small.

Kayne west is a legend, the dude is a producer, a rapper, he has his clothing line, etc. The dude is a legend, it doesn't matter if you hate him or like him you have to admit he changed the game. At 18 he made college drop out. That album is still fire to this day, but everyone hates on him. He has mental health issues and he's super famous. When he acts out in anyway it's because of his mental health. That's not something we should make fun of or judge him for we should help Kayne get the help he needs to be his Kayne best.

Wish my fucking company can make at least a small effort in trying out a more flexible working schedule. This monday to friday gotta show up to the office shit, is taking a toll on my body. Rather work an extra hour each day and get every 2nd friday off. Company too traditional and not willing to try new things, eventually people gonna start leaving left and right.

Broke again. I didn't scrape at all today, but I did hit a couple of puddles. Puddles probably tore it loose, then it started dragging on the around, before it finally snapped off.

I'm so fucking pissed off, esp caue I even took the low car friendly entrance at Walmart. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171122/bbf309e7ccebe944aa39b632b48108da.jpg

That sucks. These things are not cheap, either. I have some small carbon fiber lips on my RX-8 as well. The Series 2 RX-8 GT just looks really round to me, and I don't feel like spending money on an R3 front bumper(which looks nice, but it means I have to buy one and paint it).

I think some parts of the BC are too hilly for me to lower it. Just yesterday, I went down a hill a little too fast. I was like "Oh shit!", but thankfully nothing scraped or got torn off. Then there are the puddles of rain because some roads are just so crappy... I might get the R3 RX-8 Bilstein suspension, but I will see.

People who think carbs are the enemy in a fat loss diet and completely lose sight of the fact that the #1 most important thing is to be in a caloric deficit; #2 being a slightly less important ensure you're doing resistance training to maintain muscle. Coworker has been on a low carb diet for god knows how many months and looks the fucking same. Coworker also argues with me when I tell him low carb is not required.

Meanwhile I enjoy my occasional potato chips, french fries, white rice, white potatoes as part of my well structured fat loss diet and get down to 10% easily with little to no muscle and strength loss.
