The place is located just down the street, or is it up the street, from Willingdon Costco. Between Costco and Lordco NFL.

So I get a call from UPS yesterday that said my package is here and I need to pay $350 or so for duty and their brokerage and I'm not gonna do that so I told the lady on the phone that I'll just clear through customs myself she says no problem will email you all the paperwork that you need and then you can go to customs and when you do all that kind of thing. Just come back with the paperwork and we’ll give you the package. No problem. So I still haven’t gotten the email, so I call today and ask if everything’s good etc. She confirmed my email address and says they won’t send an email, just go get the paperwork in person. No problem, the ups building is close to the cbsa so it only adds maybe 15 minutes. So I get here to UPS and they have me wait outside in the lot because there’s two people being helped already. So I wait 20+ minutes and I see people coming in and out and I walk up there and get mad because I’m sitting in a hot car and you told me you’d come get me. So they let me in. I’m waiting and I’m waiting and I’m waiting and they are super confused. No ones called them. No one has paperwork. No one knows anything. So they investigate and my package is still in California. Turns out it's only garbage that week and buddy wasn't paying attention or something and grabbed the wrong stuff. No big deal, shit happens, but I call the company and leave a message saying what happened. No response. Leave another message. No response. Tuesday I email them and get a generic message saying to just leave the bins out and they'll send a truck by. Thursday, still no truck, I email back asking for an ETA on that truck. No response. Saturday I forward the emails to the district who hired these guys asking wtf I'm supposed to do with an extra week of garbage and nowhere to put it? They give me some generic bs about snow and say they'll contact the company. Ok sure.

Monday rolls around again, the trucks pick up the correct bins this time and my wife and I joke that we should rush out and refill the garbage can in case they're stupid enough to send the extra truck right after the regular one. We don't, and guess what happens. Without bothering to tell us anything they sent a second truck a couple hours after the first one, who of course saw nothing and left. I still haven't heard anything back from anyone, and I still have a bunch of bags of garbage in my garage.

I went offroading last night and drove past 5 fires on the way up. On the way back down, 3 still had embers and 1 was straight up flames with a log burning in the middle and a bunch of other wood sitting around it. We carry shovels and a lot of water but we went through all the water at the first one, my extinguisher at the second (with the flames), and spent ages with shovels at the third and forth because we were out of supplies. I know the risk is lower now but it's still ridiculous.
