I've seen you pinch a couple of times and have gone to cover for you. So don't worry about it. If you pinch, I'll cover for you. Besides, since I'm usually in the high slot waiting for one-timers, I'm usually in the best position to slide back and cover for you when you're pinching down the boards.

About your attributes... play a bunch of drop-in games to level up your player and gain experience. Or, purchase a boost pack and get instant upgrades - it's the best $5 I've ever spent! Boost packs are only useful if you're a Veteran or lower.

What type of player are you? I find that two way players get the "team play" rating the easiest. I usually get my team play marks from passing, body checking, blocking shots etc.. yup offsides and icings will kill your team play marks real quick. I find that it also helps to play with people that aren't selfish. Our core group of members on this RS team are good. We pass alot and get open and help each other out. It's a total team effort.

For me I found it best playing as a Power Forward to get my team play to an average of A+. You can hit, skate, pass, and also finish but as someone else stated two way forwards are good als. Of your more defensive minded play as a Defensive defenseman easy A+ across the board just play smart :)

i find it the same to score, when the chances happens, we certainly did good here and there, not so much the player's skill, but i definitely see that our chemistry wasnt the greatest in certain games

The tuner that was set in last night was awesome. Goalies made more desperation saves from cross creases and they definitely saved a lot more short side goals.

The new skating system will take some time to get used to but I hope it eliminates the figure skaters. If you eliminate the figure skaters and glitch goals, this game would be great.

nice video. I'm actually looking forward to this now. I want to see how this affects the figure skaters and what new/old glitch goals will come out of this. All I ask is that they make a glitch goal free game. Make people earn their goals, not just go to the "sweet spot" that they refer to in the video and make those high % shots.

Once during a 3on3 EASHL game against a top team, our human Dman dropped out of the game so for the rest of the game, me and the other forward played SUPER passively in the offensive zone because we knew if we both got caught deep in the zone, they could have easily come break out and glitch our AI dmen then glitch the goalie.

All it took was ONE bad play by us and it was over.

They need to make people earn their goals, not just give it to them when they repeatedly do the same thing over and over. The funny thing is that when you shut a glitcher down, they don't know what else to do because all they're used to doing is that one thing. It's pretty funny :fullofwin:

Yeah I love playing "tappers" is what I call them. Always tapping the pass button right when the AI players get the puck. It's awesome playing ones that love tapping when the goalie has the puck and you're just standing there in front of the goalie. Free goals FTW :fullofwin:

I really liked the part in the video when the guy was going top speed that he couldn't cut in so easily. Now people will have to get used to gliding on order to make cuts. Also D men will have to actually play position or get blown by. They can't remain stational and catch up to you from a stand still. Like I said after I watched the video, I'm excited about NHL 13. It looks pretty good from what I can see. I was prepared not to get 13 if it was anything like 12. All I want is no figure skaters and no glitch goals. Yeah I love playing "tappers" is what I call them. Always tapping the pass button right when the AI players get the puck. It's awesome playing ones that love tapping when the goalie has the puck and you're just standing there in front of the goalie. Free goals FTW :fullofwin:

I can't go into detail, but NHL 13 looks like the best iteration yet. Played about a dozen versus games and several 6 vs 6 games while I was there and it definitely played better than NHL 12 despite being a work in progress.

nice video. I'm actually looking forward to this now. I want to see how this affects the figure skaters and what new/old glitch goals will come out of this. All I ask is that they make a glitch goal free game. Make people earn their goals, not just go to the "sweet spot" that they refer to in the video and make those high % shots.

GM Connected was by far my favourite mode at Community Day.

I'd be down to coach/GM a team in the league, but considering I'm already dedicated to 2 leagues, including one I'm running, I wouldn't be playing.

It would be pretty sick if we could get 210 people together to participate in the league (30 GMs and 6 players/team) ...
