Just study hard and have a strong mindset and a clear vision. Im almost sure that those who make it into law school wont be any smarter than you academically since were all ubc students. I think the main thing that separates those who can do it and cant do it is the mindset and the mental focus and discipline that will let u reach that goal. I truly believe that hardwork more than compensates for a slightly lower IQ or aptitude. This might sound stupid but in an information processing theory, those that are willing to put effort and dedication into learning things gain the most expertise in an area, and that will also unconsciously lead to a better ability to encode more information and better analytical skills leading to higher academic achievement. Its just like working out.. The more you exercise your brain, the more neural activation established and the quicker and more efficient the learning process becomes... In short, i say go for the LSAT because u can do it for sure

I did pretty good in HS so I was like whatever I'll just take math

Fucking biggest mistake ever. Ended up with 50% in math 184. I still wonder how I passed tat course. I failed both midterms, I fcked up finals for sure and I got like less than 50 for home works LOL

LSAT is learnable to an extent if you study hard and are motivated enough. I had to take it more than once before I was happy with my score. I think I still have copies of preptests on my computer. PM me if you want them, they are must have for LSAT prep.

I participated in this joint psychology/buisness study. They made us play mind games and tested our math skills. It was hella fun and I walked away with $80 cash. If you can, try to look for those studies (its not very often though).

Psych studies are relatively quick and not too much hassle for 10~15 dollars per hour. If you are only in it for the money, then it can be quite boring. The surveyors are obligated to educate you the purpose/hypothesis and results at the end of the study, so it can be quite interesting/educational if the topic was interesting to begin with. I had to participate in 2 pysch studies when I was taking Psych 101 for my arts elective.

u can try parking at St andrews hall on walter gage road where "westpoint" apartment is. Park in the first few stalls right by the entrance, they hardly check and if u are unlucky enough, you still have 2 warnings before they actually tow you. I parked there for 3 months and havent been towed. Just 1 warning letter. :fullofwin:
