I found the efast purple ones work best on my sig. The pink ones seem to drain faster, and there's some weird watt limit on them. I can max out my box on the purple ones, where as the pink ones, it won't let me go over 80w at full charge, and as the batteries die, I need to keep dropping the wattage or else it won't fire. I'm assuming it's because the pink ones are 25amp and the purple ones are 35.

I'd imagine the pink ones work best on single battery mods or unregulated boxes.

Get Vaped on Hastings sells the 50w istick for $75 I think, which is cheaper than the other shops that sell at $80 or $85. Last time I was there, they had all 3 tanks (atlantis, subtank, delta). If you grab both the istick and a tank they'll probably give you a deal too.

And with our shitty exchange rate right now.. you'd probably only be saving around $5-$10 if you ordered off fasttech, not to mention wait times.

I picked up the delta 2 from them and I like it more than my atlantis. I can't speak for the subtank because I've never tried it. Comparing the other 2, the delta is less airy than the atlantis, which i like, but some people prefer more airflow

edit: I take that back about the airflow. I just played with both, and they're pretty similar. performance wise, I definitely like the delta more. It has a bit better flavor, and it has a couple cool little features which I'm probably never going to use like juice flow adjuster and a rebuildable deck option as well

I say Atlantis 1 + iStick 50. You'll be vaping at 30W, which is around 4.2V or so. Your battery life will be 2 day+.

Have you tried the Delta2? I own both and I find the Delta is definitely better than the Atlantis, firing both at 30W and even not taking into account the rebuildable deck option the Delta has.. The only thing I wish they had is a different stainless steel casing that lets you see the juice a bit better rather than just those slits.

I don't know if this is much of an issue, but the Atlantis is known to not take impact very well. I have a couple friends who dropped theirs and they either stopped working or become very shoddy at whether or not it'll fire.. The Delta seems to be built way more solid, though I've never had first hand experience of dropping them. (The delta has a steel casing around the glass, so I'd assume that's just a bit more added protection as well.) Again, I do own both, and neither of them has given me any trouble. But simply based on performance, options, and sturdiness... Delta takes the cake.

The subohm seems to be the closer contender, even though I've only played around with it a couple times so I can't make a fair comparison on this one.

You could, but it's not a good idea. Though it's unlikely that your batteries would explode... it's just not worth the risk when you can get a new pair for $24.
For boxes, marry your batteries together. Charge them together, use them together, don't split them up for your tube mods. If you have a bunch of the same batteries, mark the pairs of married batteries with a permanent marker so you know which ones go together.

Ego One i think is about $80 similar sized as the itaste, but you get closer to mod performance.

Or you can get an eleaf istick + tank for around $110 all together. Similar performance to the Ego One but a lot more customizable (you choice of tanks or RDAs). Also it's a little box shape, so it's bigger than the Ego One.

They're both chargeable units like the itaste, so you don't have to buy a separate charger and deal with batteries and building coils and all like you do with mods.

(Regarding chargeable units vs mod batteries.. Advantage of chargeable units: you can just charge through usb and use while charging. Advantage of mod batteries: you can just swap out your dead battery for a charged battery and don't have to wait for charge in between.)

In my opinion (people will disagree), unless you're getting a 2-battery box mod, or enjoy building coils.. I would pick the Ego One or eleaf+tank over a tube mod. It's just a lot less hassle for pretty comparable performance. It more comes down to the battery situation preference like I mentioned above.

Mods give you a different sensation than cigarettes. With mods, anything past 3 or 6mg nicotine is pretty hard on your throat, because of the huge rush of vapor you're inhaling.

I think the lower end non-mod ecigs with a high nicotine juice will give you more of a cigarette sensation. I still keep an iTaste around with 18mg or 24mg nicotine juice if I really want that cigarette throat hit feeling.

Regarding how effective it is to quitting smoking.. I went from 3-4 packs a week to 1 cigarette a week, sometimes even a month. Your mileage may vary.

It's a combination of many things. Wattage, coil/cotton, air flow...

I haven't researched it at all so this is based on purely personal trial/error, but I've found that for maximum flavor, I vape at 70-75w ish with a smaller airhole. (I'm using the doge rda so there's a lot of airflow control.) For coil, I'm using a 2.5 diameter build at 0.2 ohms, which is pretty standard.

For clouds, the only thing I really do is open up my air flow

I was pretty happy with the iStick 50 and the Atlantis. 30W of power is pretty good. Then I switched to the Atlantis 2 using the 1.0 ohm 50W, maxing out the iStick 50. I couldn't even stand the same 3mg.

I highly recommend the iStick 50 and Atlantis 2 with the 1.0 ohm coil, set to 50W. You'll be fine for some time to come.

I switched to the Sigelei 150 though, but I find it a bit too big now. I rarely take it out clubbing anymore and find myself smoking cigarettes again. So you may not want to buy a gigantic box due to its inconvenience.

Before I got my eleaf, I was carrying my sig around. Stacked on top of my work phone, personal phone, and wallet, it was like I was carrying around a Gamecube lol.

Just picked up a Horizon Arctic subohm tank from Get Vaped, and holy shit does this thing blow all the other tanks out of the water. Comes with 0.5 and 0.2(!!!) ohm coils. This is probably as close as its going to get to rda flavor/vapor.

Looks like I won't have any use for my Delta and Atlantis anymore.

Yup.

I think 40ish? Can't remember exactly cause I bought a few things. But I know it's cheaper than anywhere else locally.

I always go here for hard goods, because they always sell their tanks and power units and stuff cheaper than all the other stores, and if you buy a few things, they usually give you a deal on top.

Their juice selection is pretty limited though, cause they mostly carry "higher end" juice.

Really nice guys too, and you can come in anytime with your rda and they rebuild your coils for free :fullofwin:

If its OCC might just be a bad coil with not enough cotton in it. One of those 2 or your just priming too much?

ipv v4 is 100w, no? You'll have more wattages to play with.

If you were comparing ipv v4 and the sigelei 100w, then I'd take the sig just because I like how sigs look a lot more. either way you can't go wrong :toot:

Bumping this up. I have 200ml+ of this in 3mg. I got sick of them and would love to give them out for free. Catch is that you have to meet either at UBC or Oakridge. Yeah, I've never really liked how the ipv's look - but that's all personal preference. the extra 25 watts on the ipv is nice to have, even if you rarely go up that high.

The guys at Nuage hooked me up with a couple of those for free, lol. I went in and just hung out for an hour or so once, just testing flavours and watching hockey. I told them I liked a certain couple flavours, and they let me take some home in a couple of those bottles.

I made dual parallel coils with 26g kanthals with 8 wraps each to make 0.2ohm duals. When I was testing it, they glow evenly from the center towards out but when I wicked it, it heated up really slow, the vapour production seems extremely little, and it made a frizzle/crackling sound on the coil. I dripped enough to last me 4 hits and by the time I've hit the 4th, the box was burning hot and showed "too hot" on the screen. I have made dual parallel's at 0.2 ohms once before and since then every other one I've made failed. Definetly start with less wraps, the more wraps the longer the ramp up time. I found 4-5 wraps was the sweet spot with parallels using 26guage. When I first started building I made the mistake of doing 7-8 wraps but was quickly taught that less is more

It was working properly for an hour or so and after a couple hours (no usage) it started giving me little vapour and heat like the shitty coil I built minus the fizzle. *sigh*

It can just as easily be your mod's problem too. Try your rda on a friend's mod, or go to any shop and ask to try it on one of theirs. That'll be the quickest way to diagnose whether it's your mod's issue or your rda's issue.
