my process is after mixing i put it in a drawer for about 3 days with no sunlight at all. shake for a minute, then take the cap off and let it sit for another day. cap back on shake again and in the dark for a couple more days before i taste it.

i've tried strawberry kiwi, strawberry, ripe banana, hawaiian punch, lychee, strawberries & cream, and i can't seem to find one that i like enough. i think i may need to increase my flavor percentage more. all about trial and error.

i do a 20% flavour. Whenever i make juice i make 100ml batches. makes it easier to do percentages and what not. Haven't had anything too strong. I do 20ml flavour, then about 70ml VG and 10ml PG. just a little kick to it, nothing much.

My juice used to leak a bit too in my EVOD carto. So I played with the VG and PG.

I put my juices in little mason jars and label them. Leave them in a box and shake quite often. I let mine brew for about a week or so. I then bottle them and share with a few friends :D

I've been transitioning off real cigs (avg 7/day) for the past month or so and so far for me I would say yes but I can see for some people it would actually increase their smoking.

The biggest different for me so far is this. When I smoke a real cig and I think everyone would agree, you get the sense that you have to smoke the whole cig. You may not even want a full cig but you smoke it till the end anyway. Yes, I know there are a few people that will put it out and save it but those are rare.

With the ecig I simply turn it on and take a few hits when I feel like I need a smoke vs smoking a full cig every time. So for me it has cut my smoking down a lot.

Vice versa I can see for some people due to pure convenience of basically being able to smoke anywhere and whenever you want that it may increase your smoking without you even realizing.

At the end of the day, at least (although I guess not proven yet) it's healthier than a real cig so that's a start.

I smoke them in a lot of indoor places but within reason and not like I own the world. There are also places where I choose not to just because.

For example say I'm in Babies R Us or maybe an indoor place where I'm around kids. I'll choose not to use my ecig just because.

Fancy restaurant, usually don't either.

When I do choose to do it in an indoor place I usually try to be a little discrete instead of having the I don't fuck attitude like "what this ain't illegal, bite me mothafucka attitude" which I've seen before too.

I don't vape indoors of public places like malls, restaurants, etc. I treat vaping as similar to smoking. The general public is not educated in vaping so it's perceived as smoking to most. I'll vape at home, in my car, establishments that allow it ie ESV, friends houses etc.

Walking in a mall I generally don't unless it's quiet, I'll sneak in a few hits here and there. I mostly do it while I'm in a store, again if it's not really busy.

here is my experience

i used to smoke 1+ pack a day for the past 10 years, people would call me a chimney cus i would always smoke 2 cigs (B&H menthol 100's delux) every time i smoke.

at first i tried to not smoke at home after i get off work n just use the vaporizer. did that for 3 nights straight, then decided that the next morning i would not light up any cigs, its been 3 weeks now and have not lit a real cig yet.

when i first got my evod(small beginners vaporizer), i didnt like it cus it didnt feel the same as smoking a cig so i stopped using it. then a frnd suggested i add some menthol juice to my fruity juice cus i like smoking menthol cigs, tried that and never smoked a real cig after. started with medium strength juice, then high, then now sucking on low nic juices.

does it help? i would say 50/50. u have to really put ur mind into using the vaporizer instead of sucking on a real cig. i still consider this as smoking, but hey, im not inhaling cancer.

ps, this is probably cus i stopped smoking and my lungs trying to get rid of all the dirty bad stuff, but i find that using a vaporizer, i have a lot of phlegm in my air way which causes my throat to be itchy and cough. at the beginning of week 2 i got sick, probably due to not smoking a real cig which didnt help with the phlegm, but it seems like it has gotten less phlegm and cough now.

I have the vv and will be making the switch to the mvp, the difference in battery life vs the difference in cost is worth it. The vv puts out about 5-8 hours depending on use where as the mvp last 2-3 days.

Size shouldnt be much of an issue, its almost the same size as a pack of smokes

get the aerotank. i've read a lot of reviews and people like it a lot better because of the airhole placement. also because it's adjustable. i've been using it for the past month now and i love it

get the aero tank, i have 4 of them, this should prob give u an idea of how much i like them

as for the protank, id say skip it as its just a large single coil tank in glass/metal just like the plastic evods/protanks but bigger.

the protank 3 is just a protank/protank 2 but with dual coil like the aero tank so might as well buy the aero tank

u also need to buy the coils, i go through them like crazy, with the amount i vape, they get dirty very fast. also some r defective to begin with so get lots of replacements.

i wash mine, then rinse in alcohol, but if u do pls make sure the alcohol is completely dry else ull get a nasty nasty vape lol

the coils tho is easier to replace than to wash, cus of the material in the wick the flavor stays for quite some time, especially if the previous flavor is a strong flavor. ppl recommending dry burning the coil to dry out the wick and purge the flavors but i burn the wick more often than clean it.

Of course, I get a q-tip and just try and absorb as much juice as I can from the cotton/wick of the atomizer, and for the tank its self, just try and dry it as much as possible.

nic base was from canvape? i think u told me abt that site, the flavors were from the manufacture direct as i find the online vendors carries only the most popular flavors or majority of the flavors from a certain line is out of stock.

the lychee i sniffed it n its pretty strong so i dono how much to try n mix first, as for the sweetener, i think it only makes the vape taste sweet?

so far the juicy peach n honeydew smeels the most like the real thing where as all the other flavors smells a bit like artificial. maybe its because im sniffing the whole concentrated bottle, but cant imagine it been a lot difference.

Only if you use the same one with a lot of different juices. If you have any thicker juice (usually coffee or chocolate) then I'd suggest you get a tank dedicated to that flavour otherwise everything is going to taste like that

I'll tell you this much, genesis tanks are a pain in the ass to get to wick efficiently. But they provide the best for flavor and vapor. More so convenient than a dripping atty, but bulkier at the same time.....

Ordered a bunch of juice from Adirondack Vapor over Xmas because they had a Reddit special going on. I had it shipped to Point Roberts and picked it up. I just told the guy I was picking up an ecig and ecig juice to help get my dad off smoking actual cigarettes.

Dude just looked at me and told me to be on my way. Didn't even ask if it had nicotine, price of goods coming back, guns/tobacco/over 10k.

Probably could've been that he was in the holiday spirit, but it's up to the discretion of the border guard.

FYI: It's health canada that's telling border services to stop and seize nicotine related products at the line.

Border services are only upheld by their orders from the federal direction.

If you bring back multiple flavors of liquids, chances are you're fine.

Bring back multiple bottles of the same flavor, you'll probably have them confiscated.

picked up 2 knuckle juice red wing and summer watermelon, and a darkside creation BC Blast.

Right now running the redwing juice, any advice on wattage? Why would anyone ever use the voltage setting if the wattage is the simpler of the two?

tl;dr of what i've read, and it's from me skimming articles. it makes no difference. in the end you're just adjusting the wattage/voltage to what gives you good flavor and good amount of vapor

when i was using aerotank with 2ohm coils, i would vape at 4.2 volts

personally i like to vape around 9-11 watts on my aerotanks, anything above 11 will burn, and under 9 is just not warm enough for me

if u have an vv/vw adjustable device, i suggest u run it in wattage mode as what ever wattage u set it at, the device will fire at that wattage no matter what resistance coils u put in there given ur device reads the coil resistance properly. if u use voltage mode, ull have to adjust the voltage to match ur coil resistance so u get the wattage u want

i believe ur SVD can range from 3-15 watts n 3-6volts? if u put in ur own coil that has a resistance of 0.5Ohms, using wattage mode at 15watts, ur only vaping at 15watts, but if u use voltage mode at 6V, do the math and we have (6X6)/0.5=72watts, thats IF the device can handle the sub Ohm resistance

Hey TOPEC you seem to be master vaper guru. Would you recommend using a rebuild able tank on an SVD? Looking online everyone seems to be using mechanical, but I was thinking of building coils that are the lowest resistance my SVD can handle.

What are the disadvantages of a lower resistance coil? Less lifespan? Im guessing the advantages is being able to make huge clouds.

If you dont see a problem with it any recommendations on a rebuild able? I want something solid, reliable, and pretty.

Rebuildable tanks are definitely the way to go! If you're planning to go subohm it'd be best to get a mechanical. The highest amp draw the SVD can handle is 5amps.

So say you have a fresh battery which would be 4.2v, the lowest resistance you would be able to get is .9 ohms. Besides making more clouds, you'd get more flavour and a warmer vape.

If you're looking into a rebuildable without breaking the bank, try looking for clones online. I know nhan got a kayfun lite from ehpro on ebay for about 35? For custard and savory flavors I build my rda/rba's to around 0.25-0.40 ohms while for the fruit flavors they are around 0.50-0.80. These are just my preferences as it gives me that wonderful vape and brings out the flavors in the juices I have.

MVP is super easy and very portable

svd+tank of choice is good too, but regardless of what you choose I would get a variable wattage/voltage one, get to tinker around.

I had a ego T, which is a starter for many but I would sway away from it. Much better options for a few bucks more. Go check out east side vapes on kingsway, they seem to be pretty knowledgeable and its a cool little store, lots of enthusiasts there and they have starter kits too with better hardware.

I think you should check out the differences between a starter kit and a mech/tank/drip setup.

If you're going to end up upgrading anyways, might as well save the expense of a starter kit that you might not be too enthused about after a month. Not that there's anything wrong with starter kits (some people prefer them) but more often than not, most guys end up switching over.

I recently got the itazte vv too, with the Mini Protank 3, and so far, I love this thing. I had my ego-C for like 3-4 years and the battery just died on me -- but it's had a good life and did more than it's time. Right away I noticed that the itazte's vapor is much warmer than the ego's, which is pleasant. I'm not big into tinkering/building parts, so the itazte was definitely the perfect bang for the buck.

Depends. If I do regular dual coils, I'll throw in 28/26/24 on occasion. But if I feel like parallels or quads or just want to take it down to .15-.2 I'll wrap something gnarly.

i could be wrong not an expert or anything, but my understanding of a parallel build is that each wrap is 2 strands of coil. so by having 5 wraps, it'll look like 10

i dont think you can get 0.2ohms with 10 wraps of 26 gauge

It's not called a 5 wrap, basically that one coil u made is a 10 wrap with a small diameter that gives you a resistance of .4 and then u add another coil in parallel to split the resistance and that ends up being .2 that of course only counts if the coils are identical.

Less wire = less resistance
More wire = more resistance
And then there is thickness.....

O ring broke. Cap sat on the base flimsy, drip tip was wiggly.... And that fucking thing has 4 o rings with bad quality and getting the cap of is retarded.

Aerotank is one of the better ones, I think. I use the Aerotank mini and Protank mini pretty regularly, and though something about the Aero feels a bit better, it's not that big of a noticeable difference.

I get most of my stuff on ebay, it's hard to beat the prices. But if I need something right away I usually go to Vancity Vapor off Burrard or the one across from Metrotown

yeah aerotank mini and protank mini are the perfect size, imo. Obviously you have to fill it up more often, but I always keep a little tube of juice in my car, so filling on the go isn't a problem. Also the bigger tanks look a little funny to me lol so I never got the regular size

It's the version that has the side fill option

The Kayfun Lite has the bottom fill option, which resembles the Russian 91%.

As for flavor, CEV has a belmont flavor [but i've tried this flavor extensively and it's a MUCH sweeter flavor than you'd expect] I do know that every local shop does carry a tobacco flavor that you might want to give a shot.

As for quality of juice, you're going to see variances in liquidity and fluidity. Vancity Vapes uses a higher PG to VG blend, meaning their juices are thinner in liquidity and you'll most likely go through it quicker, where Eastside and CEV carries a 50.50 blend. A good combination of PG and VG ratio. Providing you a good throat hit, good vapor production, inclusive with good flavor as well.

juice and liquid quality has since changed immensely from when you last had a go at e-cigs, and the one thing that has change the most is the hardware. It's longer lasting, and more consistent, with batteries providing you a good output in regards to longevity.

Hey thanks for the reply. I actually picked up the kanger evod today at esv for around $47, so maybe they got cheaper? This was including juice. The guy I talked to was pretty knowledgable. Have yet to try the Belmont juice from cev yet but the tobacco flavor juice I got from esv is not bad.
