If so get the guy to give you $4k, buy the headlight yourself online, for like 300 bucks, and get a new fender, and then install it all and just take it to get painted.

I'm not even sure, we're highly doubting that they will decline getting it fix as it's just aesthetics. If they do I'm going to be choked cause there hasn't been a 2.0t in GT trim being sold in the past 6months.

This is what needs to be done - small bumper damage repair, headlight replace, fender replace, fender liner replace, fender repaint, blending around fender(door, bumper, hood) wheel refinish, wheel paint, 4 wheel alignment and some other labour.

If he does pay the 4k outright I have other plans that will indeed save me some money but we don't know if there's any more internal damage. Ide rather save the headache and just let icbc do everything than worry about this kind of stuff.

God what a feeling. Tears of joy after driving it for one block away from body shop. Have to thank the guys at fastrack autobody for putting up with such a lengthy fix. Car came out better than the day I bought it!

Yakima sells the rack independently from the little feet, and then they have a series of what they call "Mighty Mounts" for different bar types.

So for my factory cross bars which are long and oval shaped, I bought the corresponding legs for that style.

Looks like Skunk has round bars, so he probably has different feet than the ones that I got.

But yes, in general Yakima has some application which will fit your OEM bars nicely.

Ask and thou shalt receive. Picked up the demo 8 used for $700 so definitely not breaking the bank haha. Went on my first ride today with it, first time riding DH (or a bike really haha) for about 7 years.

I had a 2011 Demo 8 briefly, and although everyone else has nothing but praise for them, I could never get comfortable on it, the bike felt very "squirely" under me. I can't really explain it any better. I kinda see why people like them, cause it was easy to manipulate and with a little bit of muscle it was easy to just throw it around and force it to do what you wanted. The problem for me became when it came time to just drop the hammer and bomb through bumps the bike always seems to want to buck me off instead of working with me to pound through the rough stuff.

I ended up ditching it and keeping my Session 10, for comparison purposes I am about 4 seconds fast on A-Line with the Session 10, and a full 10 seconds faster through Dirt Merchant. At the same time I missed how much fun I could have on the Demo 8 throwing it around, so I picked up a Transition Bottle Rocket for flinging around.

Ya I liked the ride I had today, nothing too crazy but the back felt really planted and smooth. Definitely don't think it's a race bike as there were times were it felt kind of sluggish but all in all for the minimal amount of riding I did today i'm happy.

Hey westopher, how's the Sea to Sky these days? Heading up there next week and wondering if I should take the C4 up with its PS2s or bring a proper snowie-equipped car instead.I wouldn't risk it to be honest, as much as I want to live vicariously through you driving the 964 up there. The weather is just too volatile up there. It can get pretty buck nasty in an hour from being perfectly mellow. Also, I believe whistler is supposed to get hit with some snow/rain over the whole next week, so there will be some temperatures that hit below freezing depending on when you go. I always check the highway cams, they are a very valuable source of info.

That car is built to show what can be done, explore the extremes of what is possible. They have other vehicles which are modified to show their version of a daily driver as well.

This is a local shop, which is known all over the globe for their toyota and lexus parts catalogue. The VIP guys go absolutely ape over S9 stuff, the least you can do is show a little respect for some guys from your little part of this world just trying to do something different.

New owner picked up the car yesterday. So it's no longer my car, but I would like to post one last picture in this thread.

Owned the S2000 for almost a decade. Being a Honda, other than changing the fluids on a regular basis, and replacing wear items such as the wiper blades, reliability was excellent. The only unexpected replacement required was the fuel cap, as the seal wore out.

Definitely one of my favourite cars of all time, and was my first attainable dream car.

The new owner was like :fullofwin: and I was like :(
