Each stat (Attack, Def, HP) have a total of 15 IV. A Pokemon with 15/15/15 will have the highest possible CP of that Pokemon, compared to a 0/0/0 of the same Pokemon.

People / websites use a % (like 91% IVs) to indicate they are 91% perfect. Some IV calculators will actually show the estimated breakdowns (like 14 attack, 14 defense, 15 HP etc) along with the %

IV's are actually from the Pokemon games on Gameboy etc. I used to play those games a lot, so I learned about IVs from those games :P

Unfortunately, the IV information aren't shown in this game. You have to use a third party app or website.

Those 2 should be "safe", as you enter Poke information manually.

Other websites log in and receive data from the servers to show you IV automatically. Not sure if Niantic will punish users or not for doing that?

Don't know nests, but caught a Kabuto from the tri lure at Metro a few weeks ago. (I was across the street at work, but my GPS drifted to the lures and he spawned hahaha).

Geodudes spawn around metro. Not COMMON, but have caught a few already.

All of them spawned at locations 5-10 minutes away. After each catch, everyone would go back to Metro and then just follow the big group to go to the next one that spawns.

First Snorlax was at Central Park and the second one was by BCIT. There was an Aerodactyl that spawned across the street from the Chinese restaurant on the corner of Nelson/Kingsway

I hatched a 97% Magikarp but it is only 148 CP.
I have enough candy and stardust to evolve.

Would I be better served to power up first and then evolve or evolve first and then power up or does it make no difference.
I can't seem to find a definitive answer online.

Always evolve first. The move set (especially for Gyrados) can be crap. If you power up first and get a crappy move set, you will have wasted your stardust.

In terms of CP, etc, there is no difference with the order of Power Up and Evolves. Power Up just increases the Pokemon's levels, which carry over evolutions.

I have the same issue at work using chrome and on my phone using Firefox.

fastpokemap.se seems to work pretty good for me. I normally use it to see if there are any pokemon in my neighbourhood I'm looking for.

I tried Fastpokemap at work but nothing ever shows up.

Beef with buddy system. Now you can't tell who's cheating. Living in Smithers it's easy to tell who's cheating by the pokemon they have. I know what spawns and how often and there is no way some of these dicks in town have 8-10 different 2k CP pokemon just from walking around buttfuck Smithers. Now with buddies people can just "walk" and get candies so you can't really question them.

Not convinced the buddy thing is working. As a matter of fact, I'm not convinced the mileage tracking is working since the new update. I've at least walked over 1 km since the new update, but buddy mileage is still staying at 0km. Interestingly, the hatching egg km increased by 0.2km.

They spawn along the water by: Canada Place, West Convention Center, and all the way to Harbour Green park. There's also some that spawn by the water even further towards Stanley Park but I never go that far lol

I don't think they are gone. Raids only happened between 8am and 9pm. But they were changed with the legendary releases to something more like 6am to 8pm
