There's enough. I borrowed their helmets all through last winter and there was never a shortage. You're supposed to return them after your run/heat if you're borrowing so there's always enough.

dailying the gf's mr2. getting there with a bit of polish and clean up.
took us a whole year to find the set and was picked up while we were down in LA last year. original condition, logos are painted, not decals.
after some issues with valve stems gaskets (inners), we only had them on for 1 day summer meet last year. now it's finally on for good.

When I went up this weekend there were a lot of nice stretches but then there were quite a few spots where I had to come to a halt because the potholes were just way too much to take with any kind of speed. Really giving me the itch to get these Fox 2.0 coilovers off and get a proper 2.5 suspension setup so I can fly down the road.

Ah, how are you liking the KO2s? I am debating between the KO2, Hankook DynaPro ATM, and Toyo Open Country AT/2 to replace my Wrangler SR-A's.

The KO2s have been awesome, a good year round tire that'll get you through pretty much anything.

+1 for the K02's! i've had mine for just a little over a year and a half now and they've been nothing but awesome. even had the chance to use them in the snow and the tire's performed wonderfully.

Wait, so the road was bad enough that it killed your stock tires? (I'm assuming the Pirellis that the FX4's had back then?) Damn, that makes me worried about the Wrangler SR-A's I have on my 20" wheels, they're 275/60R20 so just a little more sidewall than the F-150's stock size wheels.

Compared to similar size and price SUVs

Styling aside, the minivan will always be a much more practical vehicle than the SUV.

The only SUV I'd consider is one that can tow a heavy trailer. But for everything else, a minivan is where it's at for space, comfort, fuel, configuration, options / trim packages and details like vacuums, coolers etc.

I find SUVs are just overrated and under performing. People don't like the stigma with a minivan but anyone who drives a minivan doesn't give a shit about image. They just want something that works and works WELL for their family and their needs. To me, the Chevy Trax is one of the most pointless vehicle ever to be conceived and the Ford Explorer is poser vehicle of choice.

The belt snapped while I was idling and according to some Honda experts I got a 50/50 chance that the valves are fine.
I will try to do a timing belt job first and be praying to the Honda gods that I'll be in the positive result 50% .lol

Hey man you never know. I thought my engine was toast when the belt snapped at 7000rpm on the track. Broke a couple valves but they didn't drop and one retainer. No piston or cylinder wall damage. Best of luck !

Picked up a set of G35 sport wheels with summers, they're not the coupe wheels so they're not forged.
The price was right and they are in good shape, the tires are not bad either.

They don't fill out the wheel well all that well but that's just an excuse to go a bit lower, Needs clear corners as well.

If I'm not mistaken those are just the meisterschaft tips, not anything valve tronic.

the cut outs for valve tronic exhausts aren't usually at the back, they are closer to the front and create a dump before the mufflers.

Also Finished wet sanding and polishing, however I left the extra compound sit on the paint for a for a while - (was out of the country) and had to Clay Bar it off - Leaving swirls. Back to polishing it is.

The Borbets are going to be painted a metallic gold, with a matching pinstripe on the car... But here is how she sits right now!

Its a "hood tilt" mod, people usually do it to lower engine temperature but really who knows how functional it actually is. It stared out in the American muscle era and now the JDM guys are doing it.

As for the JDM scene, I've heard that it kinda tells you the turbo is so big that it doesn't let the hood latch properly. Mostly Nissan and Toyota guys doing it

i just did it cause i like the look, i did that for like 2 years i don't really notice any pros or cons to cooling, i am looking to get a vented hood sometime whenever the cdn $ is stronger.
but ya, i love that it gets a lot of confused and angry opinions from general public when i am driving to places haha(not just the hood, the whole car in general, especially when wheels don't match, skinny tires etc.)

Don't slam it. If I could do it over again I'd convert my car to 4WD, buy a lift kit and big tires. It's cool for awhile, then you realize how much of an inconvenience it is, and how you have to apologize to all your passengers about how stiff the ride is, nevermind the fact that you have to avoid carrying heavy loads or avoid carrying passengers altogether to prevent rubbing or scraping :badpokerface:

Unless you go with bags, then that's another story. I will never slam another car with coils again. Besides, the global automotive scene seems to have departed the stancenation era for the most part.
