I share the same concern as your about our blueline. -lack of depth among our defence in terms of fast skating, puck moving d-men.

If only Allvin found a young defenceman who is a good skater, makes smart decisions with moving the puck, AND has a right hand shot to fit the team's salary cap haha.

Ovechkin was on the cover of EA NHL twice for NHL 07 and NHL 21.

Ovie has had a Hall of Fame career and a Stanley Cup. One of the best snipers ever to play in the NHL.

The whale has been in use longer than the skate. The colors and the orca are actually fitting for us. While I like the black skate as a Third/Alternate, the whale should stay as the primary. The best player in any league will never be the highest paid player every year. Usually only for a a year or 2 until the next group of best players re up on their deals so nothing new here. In fact McDavid wasn't even in the top 10 in salary last year nor is he in the top 10 for next year either.

It was only a few months ago. Game 7 against the oilers. Down 3-0 going into the 3rd. Last 10 mins they decided they should play with more intensity and scored 2 goals. But ran out of time. I don't think they learned from it. Lol.

First game of the season, yes the blew a big lead and lost but that first period was fantastic. At least the didnt get shutout like the Oilers and Leafs
