Some inconsiderate prick let their dog shit in the apartment elevator this morning and didn't clean it up. My roommate stepped in it on the way to work, and I barely avoided it.

Who the fuck does this shit?

Some fucker did that too in the elevator at my old Condo complex. The place was brand new but fucking trash bags lived in the building and every day when u went into the elevator there would be either trash, beer cans, cigarette buds, dog shit/piss on the ground it was a zoo. Thats why once my lease was up I got the fuck outta there!

^ Yup, same with my building. Big, nice, new complex... and every once in a while, someone thinks they're too good to pick up their dogs shit in the elevator.

Or my fav, when they make their dog shit in the underground parking lot, because it's raining outside/cold/whatever.

I hate the general public.

It was very bad in my Condo. Damn SFU students.
It's either puke, spit on the elevator walls by the buttons, ripping up the notices, or writting obscenities on those notices.

Good thing we just put up new security cameras in the elevators. Hopefully this helps.

In my last condo, one of the tenants was caught on camera stealing a security camera. Hello camera. Do you see me? I see you.... Uh duhhhhh....

Not the only time that has happened. We get notices that an account is overdue fro BC Hydro. I usually give the tenant a heads up, and a warning that they take cutting someones power very seriously.

I get a call in the afternoon, and she says that she'll pay it in the afternoon. Whatevs. Its your power.

So the guy comes and turns off the power. I laugh a little bit.

She calls and is upset and says to me, "did you call them and tell them I'd pay it at 4?"

WTF? I have a hard enough time running my own life-what with 5 buildings, a reno company and a fucking dinosaur in my house. Now I'm supposed to keep tabs on 84 bill payments?

So I say no. She goes to pay the bill-now including an extra $175 reconnect charge and discovers that they do not in fact, take Amex. So then she's pissed about that. And its 5 minutes until they close, and they are rude to her. Shocking.

So she had to go without power until the morning. And I had to deny her the extension cord from the hall.

Cause I'm like that.

Love the way you write these stories, and their stupidity cracks me up

Accept that it's not usually owners who do this kind of stuff. It's the retarded renters. 99% of the time in my building, it's the renters causing the issues. Makes me sad I bought

In fact, years ago, I was living in a shit building on Nanaimo that had a lot of fire doors to go through to get to my apartment. I can hear these weird sounds getting louder until I open the final door to my place, and this chick is just getting railed up against the front door(inside the apartment, so you had to supply your own visuals) screaming her head off, and you could feel the floors pounding.

Not a bad way to spend 4pm in the afternoon-for him and her I suppose. After laughing and listening for awhile, I was left wondering what the hell type of place I was living in.

Lol, this reminds me of a person who lived next door to my g/f, when she was living at her old place. Unfortunately, doesn't involve teh sax

Old, 2-story woodframe building. Smaller building, and from who I met, everyone seemed fairly nice... excpet for her next door neighbour. The guy wasn't a dick most of the time -or should I say, when he was sober- made small talk, was always nice. Until the weekend would roll around...

Fri/Sat nights, he would get off work (was a cook at a bar) and start drinking, alone, and smoke a lot of weed. No big deal right? Well, the fact he was alone, meant he could spend his money on guy stuff. Mainly home theater equipment. One weekend rolls around, and the next thing you know, he starts blastin' the worst, 80's euro trash techno you've ever heard in your life... and loud. Still the loudest music I've heard from an apartment, to this day. It was so loud, dishes rattled in her kitchen, and we could barely talk to each other on the couch. All the while, this typically started around 1am.

Now, both my g/f and I are pretty cool when it comes to loud music, tv's. Sometimes people get a bit carried away, forget they live in a wood framed building. But this guy took it to a whole other level. My g/f's living room shared the wall with his living room, so there really wasn't any kind of 'room buffer'. We always hated calling the cops, and rarely did for this sort of thing... not that it would matter. I would go over there to try and get him to turn down the music a bit, but because the music was SO loud, he wouldn't hear. Me, and some of the other neighbours would literally bash on his door to try and get his attention. It got to the point some nights where we would all be laughing in the hallway, because what else could you do? It was almost every weekend (I figure it was mainly around when he got paid) and it was always, ALWAYS that horrible techno music! We all figured -and found out later- that he would drink/blaze to the point where he would pass out with the music playing that loud. Oh, I forgot to mention... the few times he would hear us bashing at his door, he would always come out in an old t-shirt, and yup, tighty-whitey underpants. Winter/spring/summer/fall. Tighty-whitey's. He was in his mid-thirties. Sigh.

He got complaints, but because he also owned his unit, there was really no chance the dude was gonna move out. He had lived there for quite a while, and had no interest in moving. I'd love to know how much that guy has been fined over the years....
