uh huh..

so did you end up moving to pg for work(2%) or did you knock up a full blood(98%)

RedCeli 05-15-2006 09:36 AM

^^this reminds me of Family Guy where peter fights that guy in the chicken suit for about 5 mins straight...and then in another episode the chicken suit guy just randomly shows up and they just continue where they left off.

my xbox 360 updated review: after 2 months i had to get a new system (thank you warranty) because mine started eating discs and freezing. microsoft was no help at all, even wanting me to risk another xbox game ($60-70 each) to go through troubleshooting the problem. i really hate that you can't even move the xbox at all with a disc in it. some really good games out there but im dying to get GTA4 or Halo3 which aren't coming out untill 2007 and EA's NHL won't be out untill early fall. im considering selling PGR3 cause im bored with it and for now its better just renting different games. if i buy a game, it would probably be Call of Duty 2 - multiplayer sucks (no computer players - xbox live would be ok though). Another thing that has anoyed me is that for me to be able to conect my xbox to my computer to download updates, put music, movies, etc on it, the xbox needs to have an internet connection. basically, i need a router to simply transfer files from the computer to the xbox.

overall i am generally happy with my purchase and considering the wait for the PS3 and the $100 added to the price over a 360, i will be able to get along until the ps3 comes down in price

SpooSports 05-15-2006 11:20 PM

im waiting for teh ps3, itll be stupidly expensive, but ive never bought a system at release....this one i wanna. *hopes geoff still works at F/S so i can reserve one*

bmwwheelman 05-16-2006 12:32 AM

i wont touch an xbox 360 till you can softmod them like you can with a normal xbox now, its probably the best investment i've ever made now if only i could record and watch tv on it it'd be the ultimate Media Centre

Argh... *Rant* so i got a letter from icbc saying that to date the amount owed on my claim from rear-ending that guy back in december of '04 was $2946.30 and if this amount was paid within 30 days of getting this letter then my insruance would not go up. The guy didnt really get a settlement it was more just the amount of the vehicle as well as some payments on a few bills by the looks of it.. the vehicle amount was $2100.... here is where i get annoyed:

My insurance went up in June of '05, i paid insurance on my truck at its new rates untill December of that year. So, confused by the way the leter was written i called icbc and asked them to explain it. Apperently i should have gotten a letter of renewal sometime before i renewed my insurance stating that this is what i owed to date, and if i were to pay it i would not have my insurance go up. Well, i didnt get the letter. I was told the day i went in that it would go from this, to that.

So.. long rant short, i dont have the option of paying the amount and having my insurance going back down to where it was. A) it's not considered a "small" (under 3 grand) claim so i cant pay it anyways and B) i have already made payments on the new rates

so why the hell would they send me that letter? grrr.. sorry for the huge rant.. im just really irritated at icbc. for something new :flamemad:
