So I am a little worried about my car right now, my two pager started going nuts all last night, saying the hood was open and window smashed, yet my car is in Vernon and I live in Car's Landing, so WTF? either I have a neighbor with identical alarm and frequencies (scares the shit outta me) or someone just busted into my car in Vernon!

I wonder would a signal from an alarm be strong enough to cross the lake? I heard an alarm going off on the other side of the lake and when i was on my dock my pager was flipping out earlier but the lake is 2-2.5 maybe even 3 km wide there???? Help

Oh ya The White Manision north of the resort, is no more :( it went up in huge flames today, there were helicopters and bombers all circuling incase it spread to the trees on the hill it was kinda nuts to watch!

people are asking conklin a little much to expect him to be on top of his game going into the last 5 minutes of a stanley cup playoff game when he has zero playoff experience, and hasn't played a game since april. when you've been out of action for so long its hard to get back into a grove, especially one where you can know where players will be on the ice without even looking. its also hard for a team who is 55 minutes into a playoff game to adjust to a new goalie and know how he will play. you're thinking about getting through those last 5 minutes, scoring that last goal or at least holding off till the overtime incase roloson gets back. its hard to come off that adrenaline, calm down and think and adjust to a cold goalie. the team and the conklin both were unprepared and it is unfortunate. they should not have given up a 3-0 lead and put themselves in that situation in the first place.

So i finally got my friggin icbc shit sorted out... assholes... i had to go through head office and then go through my adjusters supervisor to get it but i finally got through...

If i pay said amount in 30 days from today *he gave me extra time as ive spent most of the last 30 days trying to get ahold of someone to help me* my insurance will go back down to where it was prior to the accident.... so in other words.. icbc actually helped me out.. it just took forever. they said that they will also credit the difference if there is any.

that kinda makes me happy.. now i just need to sell the truck in order to pay it off... and get another vehicle. woooo

took out a mazdaspeed 6 for a drive today, put on some of it's first few km's
nice all around car, 274hp/280tq, 6speed, AWD, handles nice and smooth even on 18's.
