my guild...the only reason i'm with them is cuz i've been playing with them for almost a year. i know they're not gonna progress much. They like standing in fires. most of our kara runs consist of me screaming 'DON'T MOVE DON'T MOVE' during flame wreath when we're at shade. and they still move.

Kara geared Hunter only doing 450 DPS? I think I would actually have to try to get that low! Even if she wasn't using her special shots and just right clicking using normal arrows, she'd dish out more DPS than that!

i watched her very very carefully one night, and noticed that she seems to start attacking stuff wayyy after the rest of us are on it. and she uses autoshot mostly. like...it's 90% autoshot.

our good hunter has like, the same gear as her. he dished out over 1k dps everytime. so she has no excuse. i out dps her..and i'm a "dps wannabe"

Every raiding guild I've been in, the GMs wife got automatic raid spots and was absolutely terrible. scraping the bottom of the dps behind the warrior tanks, and behind hunter pets... it's just like this thing about being a GMs wife that makes you completely suck. In fact, I have meter screenshots somewhere... I should go dig em up.

LOL kara is pretty easy now lol. Well I pug one and during Netherspite it have two beans that raid member is suppose to block . Well the other hunter is suppose to block the green bean which he didn't do so ppl were bitching at him lol. I had to fill in his role.

LOL what gear is ur guild leader's wife in? I have crappy gear and I do avg 1k dps without really trying O_o Is she is in full PvP gear? Coz I did Black temple and there was a hunter in full PvP gear(raid leader's wife again -_-) and she hardly does 350dps X_X not to mention she casue the raid to wipe twice coz she didn't know how to set her pet on passive :cry::cry::cry:

and my gm's wife is in kara gear. our pally tank out dps'd her without blinking.

and i use recount as my damage meter. it's easy to deal with. i can't use most addons. my tiny little brain explodes into candies.

Funny thing...there's a chick on my server that has double glaives...rumour has it she slept with her GM to get all the good gear first. she's fucking horrible. hahahah

BBA u should really use more add ons lol ^^ It made game play so easy. I always have recount, omem, quest helper, meta map, bartender4, xperl, big wings boss mod. Really easy to use ^^

Blah I need to find a good raiding guild -_- and I guess ur guild isn't doing that BBA. I am so sick of kara lol. I need to run other instance/raids for gear but guild never have enough signs up :mad:

i hate addons. i hated xperl. too distracting. i'm a person that gets distracted by anything flashing or shining so it just...effs me up.

i have omen, DBM, recount, gatherer. and map coords. that's it. and i play just fine lol

I'm using Atlasloot Enhanced, AuctioneerSuite, Bartender 4, Recount, Deadly boss mods, Lightheaded, Omen, pMinimap, Quartz (important for casters, in my opinion) Titanpanel, and Bagnon.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I also have a level 70 Human Mage but kinda gave up on him because my guild sucked. Now I moved onto another server playing as a Horde Paladin. Fun, fun!

Alrighty, let me take the time to explain then!

Atlasloot Enhanced: This add-on makes it so that you're able to see all the loot that drops from all that instances ranging from classic World of Warcraft to even the new WotLK instances. It's a great add-on to have to know which instances to go to for whatever your needs.

AuctioneerSuite: This add-on makes it so that you're able to scan the Auction House to get the best prices to resell them for more. Also known as, PROFIT.

Bartender 4: This add-on lets you customize all your interface bars for your instance bar, pet bar, and any other bars that you would like to move or change. You can move them to anywhere on your screen, change the opacity on the bars, and lots of other options.

Recount: I assume you know what this does, since you're already using it.

Deadly boss mods: Same as above.

Lightheaded: Takes the information from the Wowhead forums for each quest and tells you exactly where the mobs or items for the quest is located. Very handy, in my opinion.

Omen: A threat meter for instances and raids. This keeps track of how much theat/aggro you're producing, so you're able to keep your threat down as high or as low as possible.

pMinimap: This add-on is a mini map addon that takes away all the icons around your mini map and just leaves the important stuff like the time, mail box, and senser box(such as find materials, fine herbs, or whatever.) You can add the icons back on the mini map if you like but I find this mini map add-on to make my screen much cleaner.

Quartz: This add-on is very important for casters or tanks even. This because you'll beable to see how much latency there is and /stopcasting and cast again before it actually finishes casting. You're also able to configure the text size, icon positioning, and the color of your bar. Which in my opinion, also makes the screen a lot cleaner.

Titanpanel: This add-on adds bars at the top of and bottom of your screen that points out how much gold you have, how much bag space you have, what the durability of your items are, and so on. It's great, one look and you'll know what you want you know without having to open your bag or whatever.

And finally, Bagnon: This add-on just combines all your bags into one big one, so that's basically awesome.

I'm looking to hop servers because I don't know anyone on my server anymore. My guild is empty and I'd rather play with people I somewhat trust (got ninja'd on the axe from the new boss in Kara a couple of nights ago)

I recall taking that screenshot because my normal 2.7 swing speed was down to 1.04, I think that's the lowest I've ever gotten it.

My head hurts looking at that T-T how do you play?! I get annoyed if I can't see at least 85% of my screen.

ughh....god i'd hate that. my screen is like...soooo clean. i have omen and recount going on one side and that's it. LOL

occasional fake raid warnings from DBM and that's it. i go batshit insane if i can't see much other than whatever i'm killing ><

LOL my old guild leader just try pug kara and got rejected. Considering he is a lvl 70 holy pally with only 490 bonus healing I wouldn't want him healing me too.

It's only for raiding that I have absolutely everything turned on. The top left box shows who's targeting my target, and who's targeting me (gives me an idea at a glance of who is assisting my target as well as potential incoming heals to see whether I need to back off and bandage). I commonly have another rogue or melee dps set as my focus in the top right which gives me a one glance at what else is being burnt down. Underneath that all the tanks and their targets. I can pretty much ignore all of that though because I run my info and my targets in the middle bottom of the screen, so I can still see everything infront of me, my buffs at a glance, target debuffs, etc. I just always find that if I don't have the info there, I end up going looking for it, or miss it... My lock is way worse because you can double the number of target boxes because of the demon : /

That's because you're not a healer. DPS and maybe tanks can get away with minimal interfaces. Healers need a ridiculous number of windows and shit.

yeah...i can't heal at all. i tried playing my friend's resto shaman and i hated it. although chain heal was fun hahaha

i just did my first BT run. it was fun....and rather easy O.O
