I get this is all blizzard's plan though. Coz if you do get the free epic you voliated the ToS and they have the right to ban you meaning they will/can ban you right away giving you. That way they can reduce lag on tomorro's xpac!

[OLD POST FOR HISTORY ONLY] T5 DKP Rules (not T6 DKP rules)
DKP Rules:

1. DKP will apply to 25 man dungeons only. Gruul/Mag/SSC/TK share a DKP pool. BT/Hyjal will have a separate pool.

2. You can earn DKP in the following ways:
a) Be online and willing to raid at 6:50 (raid invites go out): 10 DKP <---Orios edit: must be on your raiding toon to get this, see info here.
b) Epic drops give everyone in the raid DKP. For Gruul/Mag -- 4 DKP for tier item, 2 DKP for non-tier item. For SSC/TK -- 8 DKP for tier item, 4 DKP for non-tier item.
c) 10 DKP will be given for dismissal---staying in the raid until it is called by the raid leader.
d) Bonus DKP may be awarded for 1st time boss kills and progression raids (no boss kills) 20 DKP.
e) 75% of boss/progression DKP and full dismissal DKP will be given to benched players that keep their toons ready outside the instance. These players must be on time. They do not need to signed into that character, but must be available at all times on an alt or in vent. These players will be contacted at intervals during the raid. If at any point they are contacted and do not respond within a short period of time, no DKP will be given.
f) If you do not show up to raid repaired, or with a flask (for fights requiring flasks) you will not get OT DKP.

3. Item costs are the following:
a) Gruul and Mag -- Tier items 100 DKP, Non-tier items 50 DKP.
b) SSC/TK -- Tier items 200 DKP, Non-tier items 100 DKP, Patterns 50 DKP, Vortex 25 DKP (from the recipient of the craftable)

4. When an item drops, the lootmaster will announce the item and whether he is bidding on it.
a) Everyone who wants the item sends a tell to the lootmaster. You may bid with negative DKP.
b) You can send either a "bid" or a "low bid". "Bids" have priority over "low bids" but items cost the same for each.
c) Whoever has the highest DKP, wins. If there is a tie, the individuals are asked to roll.
d) DKP is updated.

5. If no one wants an item, at the discretion of the lootmaster/officers, there may be a call for 10 DKP bids for offspec items. No mainspec item will ever be offered for 10 DKP.

6. If a *single* player bids, the player will receive the item for half the normal cost, at the discretion of the loot master. If one player
sends a "low bid" and another a "bid" this counts as two bids and full price is charged.

7. DKP points are by player -- alts share the same pool of points.

8. The officers reserve the right to make changes to this system as needed.

Updates:

BoE plans (that yield BoP loot---that is, boot plans) will be placed in the guild bank. These can be purchased for the same price of 50 DKP. If multiple people want the same plans, they will roll for it.

BoP plans (that yield BoE loot) will be assigned at the discretion of the officers present. Once the guild has a number of these plans available, members may bid on Nether Vortexes to be given to the crafter for these BoE items.

And then the current rules:

T6 DKP Rules
Earning DKP:

(1) 2 DKP per boss drop
(2) 10 DKP ontime (ontime is AT instance NOT afk at 6:50 server)
(3) 5 DKP dismissal
(4) 15-20 DKP progression (discretion of loot master)

Prices:

(1) T6/Weapons 300
(2) Other drops 200
(3) BoE patterns 100
(4) Sunmote 35 (for pattern)
(5) HoD 25
(6) Gems 5
(7) Marks 2

New Recruits:

Will be started with the current median DKP. At present (8/6) this is -300.

Gem policy:

Gem prices may be changed and segregated by color depending on demand. Gems may only be
socketed in T6-quality gear (or best-in-slot equivalent). Raiders who improperly socket gems may not be able to bid
on them in the future. The exception are green Seaspray Emeralds, which can be bought with T6 DKP for
use in PvP gear.

Heart policy:

Hearts are now available for purchase by gold or DKP for mains or alts for any spec. The DKP cost is 25
or 350g each. A reserve of 20 HoD will be kept. Officers have the right to limit the number of HoD
purchased by any guild member to 4 or less at their discretion.

Sunmote policy:

Sunmotes can be purchased for patterns for 35 DKP each; single Sunmotes traded in for gear exchange are free (you just pay the normal DKP cost for the piece of gear).

Bidding:

Raiders send "bid" to the loot master. Highest DKP amount wins the item.
Raiders may send "low bid", which are evaluated below the priority of regular bids.

If only one person bids, the item is received for 1/2 the price. If one "low bid" and another "bid"
it goes for full price. If there are two low bids, it goes for full price.

If there are no bids, the loot master may open bidding for offspec. The offspec price is 25 DKP (subject to change).

Patterns:

BoP patterns (which yield BoE items) will be rolled on by 375 crafters with sufficient attendance.

Sunwell patterns that do not require motes will cost 200 DKP.

Progression:

Defined as "progressing" on a new boss---either a first kill or getting the boss's HP to a record low.

they are in the process of applying a fix to the issue of free pvp gear. Also, anything that you acquired for free will be taken back so i hope none of you were stupid enough to enchant any of it.

Well they can't really take stuff that's been enchatned coz ppl did spend the gold to get the gem so the least they could do is give the gold back.

I keep putting those cheap lvl 10 amour kit on the free pvp s2 set I got for my priest lol. Just t o confuse blizzard's program. :haha:

Just called queensborough and they said they will be opened at 12:01 same as all BestBuy's. Queensborough one have 9 walk in copies left.
