Something I've noticed on Revscene, though, is that as soon as someone finds out that some Asian on here (yes, Asian) is driving a Bimmer or Mercedes Benz (or, to a lesser extent, Audi, Lexus or Infiniti), it's automatically assumed that they're some spoiled kid who's parents have purchased the car for them. I'll agree that this is mostly the case here.

But... if someone, typically a white kid, shows up with a brand new Dodge 2500/3500, Ford F1/2/350, nary an eyebrow is raised. After all, a fully optioned out F350 costs quite a bit more than a lot of "luxary" vehicles.

Meh.

More asian RS members than caucasian.
Asians are richer than caucasians.
Asians prefer luxury cars over trucks.
Asian parents often buy their kids cars in exchange for doing well in school.

Chinese people = small peepee / shitty drivers

i still drive a car my parents bought that was originally my moms but it has come to the point where its basiclly mine. I can care less really.

Alot of guys out there want to save up and buy a car they want just cause. But to me its a bad investment and i rather save up and buy a house/apartment whatever. Id be lieing if i said i wouldnt want to buy my own car if i had quite a bit of cash but hey im not a baller. I make decent money but not enough to save up for both. THeres a car at home that gets me from point A to B and i onyl ahve to pay gas so thats fine with me.

You are all...well not all, but for those of you that actually bought your own cars, props to you. But for those those of you who didn't, stop acting cool in a car that your parents had to take a loan against the house for. I have always paid my own way, since I was 16.

I started off with a 1984 hyundai Pony...Dark blue with a baby blue Starsky & Hutch racing stripe! Yeah it wasn't cool, but atleast I had my pride.

LOL, I had a 15" sub and a big ass amp...well I still have it, but back then I'd cruise around pumpin' Pony by Ginuwine.
