I like Hugo's Cellar for steaks. It's old world class and service. Salads custom made at tableside, complimentary desserts (chocolate dipped strawberries).

Oh, and all the ladies are given a rose to keep when they enter. Used to be a popular mob hangout back in the day... downside is that it's kinda dark but I guess that can be considered romantic?

I think I've suggested PRIME about 3 times in this thread already lol. It's the only steakhouse I been to (twice) in Vegas so I can't really compare but PRIME was legit.
Get a nice table overlooking the Bellagio fountain show for an extra romantic/special meal.

+1 to the romantic feel. Went for my anniversary. Spent $550 on the meal...lol

Wife wanted to eat mcdonalds for the rest of the trip because dinner cost so much. I gave her $100, I said go play slots, lose it sure we will cheap out, but if we win it then we will continue the trip as planned. End up winning $600 something. hahaha

Mr.Money 07-19-2018 07:02 PM

they dont even list the prices in the menu....

how much was kobe beef streak :O

The first time I went, I think I sat too close to the edge... I was getting light mists from the fountains... the thought of that water being sprinkled on my expensive steak every 10 minutes was amusing to say the least lmao.

girlfriend wants to see chainsmokers because she never clubbed in vegas before. Wednesday @ intrigue night club..... how are the weekdays?

I personally dont want to go because I hate clubbing when im not single. Rather do romantic shit. Only fun for single people lol

planning to see one show atleast in my 4 days there. Absinthe any good?

edit: probably going to Gallagher’s Steakhouse

$550?! I'm assuming that's including drinks, like a nice bottle? I had a dry martini and 2 glasses of wine, 2 steaks and a whole bunch of side dishes (get the Truffle Mash!). It's been a while but our bill was probably half that.

Pretty sure you would be spending way more than $550 at Robuchon with drinks.

Hondaracer 07-22-2018 07:54 AM

Yea it’s an over/under $1000 fo sho lol

Manic! 07-22-2018 02:49 PM

A few months back went to Jean Georges Steakhouse at ARIA. The food was really good but I don't think it was worth the price. The New York strip was $90 buy itself.

highfive 07-23-2018 10:08 PM

I don’t remember. Booze. I remembered ordering a wagyu steak. Sides. And I tipped a lot

Verdasco 08-19-2018 09:33 AM

booked resos for CUT by wolfgang puck in the palazzo this week.

Going to try shake shack for the first time as well and try in and out since it has been years.... I really want to compare the two and see which one is better in las vegas

Obsideon 01-11-2019 07:56 PM

Heading to Vegas next month.

So this time I don't plan to hit up any clubs.
What is there fun to do later at night (around midnight) that's not clubbing and not strip clubs.

Perhaps a nice and fun lounge to chill and drink? Not too expensive, but not too ghetto.
Any activities?

Going the last Monday in March, planning on playing some WSOP Circuit tournaments and then two buddies joining me on the Thursday and we'll concentrate on other things besides gambling like shows, food and drinking... lots of drinking most likely but no clubs we're 40+ and married.

Rented a car because I always rent a car, used my visa points so it's whatever.

I actually setup a US bank account this time linked to my regular bank account and my business account so if I want to transfer money easy and get more cash with not terrible rates I can do that. I also got a total rewards Visa for the upgrad to platinum with Total Rewards and I'll get Mlife to Tier match for this trip. Means free parking at most the casinos.

Hotels free the entire stay, first 4 nights at mirage last two nights at Wynn.

Should be a fun trip.

RBC, you can get an American RBC account with a US Routing number and link it to your Canadian RBC accounts.

If you're looking for some reasonably priced drinks highly recommend checking out Ocean's One in Planet Hollywood, Miracle Mile.

3 drinks (Beer or Cocktails) for $10 anytime of the day, food is also very reasonably priced and chicken wings are delicious.

I don't know if I mentioned this before, however the high roller with open bar is sooo worth it. Probably the most cost effective way to get drunk on the strip, haha. Talk to the guys in the front and not at the actual attraction and they will give you a discounted rate.

Along with the drinks, it's actually a really awesome experience, we went around sunset and caught the sunset at the very top. It was great.

We did that last week, was enjoyable for sure. I think my friend grabbed tickets off groupon? We got in about 6 drinks each, and the view is awesome at night.
