Lance Burton is probably the big name act out there for magic shows. I saw Steve Wyrick when I was out there last year. It was a pretty decent show and price was reasonable. They had his tickets for sale at the Half Price ticket counter as well.

Tickets cost me $114 CAD per person for Category 3 seats.
We wanted guaranteed tickets so we paid the extra money.

Anyone tried that 1/2 price ticket place?

I went to the 1/2 price ticket place at the Fashion Show Mall on the lower level. Got tickets to Cirque show - LOVE. $95 for category 1 tickets... and ended up with 4th row seats!

A Vegas story of mine:

A Filipina/Latina cabbie picks us up from Rhino's. She asks us about "happy endings" and then proceeds to drive us to a brothel. We tell her we aren't interested, but play along because hustling is part of the Vegas experience. Then, she drives us to another brothel, but we become irate and demand she take us back to our hotel. Then, she asks us to take a look into her 'black book' to see if there are any women we like. She takes her sweet time to drive back to the hotel and tells us how she has 5 kids to feed. Upon arriving at our hotel, I catch a glimpse at the meter and start grabbing the ones. She she tells us not to waste our time in figuring out how much we should each pay and instead give her a generous tip. I hand over $17, but she tells my friend that we owe her more. I tell my friend to get out of the car because the meter read $14.50 before she turned it off.

Any suggestions for restaurants IN Vegas.

I've been to a couple of steakhouses, somewhere decent range not to expensive. with good food and a decent price range.

A couple of places for jap is Social House or Nobu. I just came back from Vegas and I went to Nobu..... it was pretty good. It is expensive, but it's worth the experience. The Miso Cod was really really fuckin good...

I'll definitely hit it up again in the future.

Not a steakhouse, but Lagasse's Stadium was awesome. Went there twice during my trip.

Yea hella cheap after CES. I`m going 3rd week of January for 4 days 3 nights flying out of Vancouver and staying at the newest Aria hotel at City Centre for $350 tax included. The price was even cheaper when I looked a week prior to booking too.

Vegas actually goes through the entire high to low temperature ranges in a single day. On the 24th, it was damn windy at the Premium Outlets :lol

... so people, when you go, take that into consideration when you pack!

Rx harnek 12-30-2009 05:19 PM

Could someone help me out or point me in the right direction? I am looking to fly to Vegas with accommodations for two adult in early February say something like leave early on the 8th and come back late on the 11th? Something like that. I went to Flight Centre and was told it would be approx $320cad tax included a person and staying at Circus Circus? Then I checked online at allegiantair and saw the same for $394usd tax included for two adults. The allegiantair quote allows one extra day to stay. Difference being that I wouldn't have to drive to bellingham and park my car there and fly directly from yvr with westjet. So for you guys out there who seem to be getting a better deal. Help me out please. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't mind driving if I am saving lots otherwise flying directly there is cool.
