ColinK 11-11-2007 09:30 AM

haha thanks man! I've actually got it printed and framed hanging on the wall downstairs :P

Slo40 11-11-2007 03:02 PM

yea that motor was the original B18B that I took out of my first G3 teg.

Unfortunately, the new owner of my old G3 has pretty much destroyed it already, and it really makes me sad when I could have sold it to a guy that would have taken great care of it instead.

Lol is that thin still running? I tuned that a few months ago but didn't expect it to keep on trucking considering the way he drives all the time before he went to GP, although that car is no monster so.

I beg to differ! Sure it's a great lens, but it's really all in the photographer. If you would have simply set it to automatic, I'm 100% positive it wouldn't have turned out ;)

Geoff, what did you do to get that shot of the stars? Multiple exposures or just a super long shutter time?

bingo!

it was pretty underexposed out of the cam so i had to push the exposure in photoshop.

its sooooooooooooooo effing tricky to expose for 1+ hour shots... my second attempt was more like a 2-3 hour exposure, wish it would have worked :(

fourtirefire 09-11-2008 04:38 PM

yeah, you'd almost have to have the camera plugged in to get it to last that long.

RRxtar 09-11-2008 05:20 PM

what the max time exposure on the 40D?

30 seconds then bulb mode for anything longer.

saucywoman 11-13-2008 07:34 AM

how do you imbed facebook pics so the pics actually show, instead of just showing a link?
