Grand Canyon looks good, and the BW has perfect exposed. So simple yet so architectural

Senna4ever 04-06-2007 03:07 AM

Yup, the B&W pic has perfect exposure.

i'd say the b&w is a bit on the flat side.

I don't think the black and white is "flat" per se. I think it lacks depth in the photograph. It looks like there is no real dimension in the photo.

Dennis, I think that creating a catchlight in her eyes would have helped this image add impact. The lashes are dramatic but the overall appeal of it I think is diminished with the lack of "umph" in the eyes. Fly hairs on the upper right corner are also kinda bothersome. JMHO

Ohkun 04-08-2007 05:35 AM

does it look bit over exposed?

It looks bit more brighter than I prefer..

it could be my crappy laptop lcd tho

Alphamale 04-08-2007 07:39 AM

dude...nice girls.

The first one seems okay... The 2nd one is definetly over exposed, it hurts my eyes to look @ the white.

But that's just me....I'll let the real photographers chime in....

nice.

she's got that spunky free-spirited thing going for her... on TV at least.

nice pics but I like the 2nd one better. 1st one seems to have some harsh lighting in the frame coming from above... would've loved to see more of her eye and not the shadow from the eyelashes, though. :angel2:

Car Chick 04-08-2007 03:16 PM

i love the second and last one salar... awesome shots.

dennis, i agree with Bonjour. The 1st shot is awkward - the cropping especially. The 2nd is much better but a lot more "safe" too..

aiongiant 04-08-2007 10:52 PM

i'll give this a try.... i'm new to photography trying to get into it as a hobby.. heres a pic of one of my first attempts..

yeah, there is something missing isnt there. I can't figure it out. I'm not feeling any of the shots from that day. Maybe I need to sleep on it for a month or so :P haha

Thanks :)

MikesJo 04-08-2007 11:30 PM

A few days, not a month, haha.

No I don't think there are show girls in the Vancouver auto show like the auto shows in asia. It would be much better if there were.
