We came upon this cub peeping out from a drainage pipe along the trail and took a bunch of photos...then panic set in...WHERE'S MOMMA??? Luckily, she was grazing on grass behind a tree just behind the cub and I didn't see her. Where you go for that Senna? It's a bit harder than tracking birds isn't it? Great pics my friend!

I'm totally done with birds for now...more exciting chasing bears through the woods. I go up to Squamsh and as far as the valley north of Pemberton. Black bears are (mostly) harmless...it's the cougars (four legged kind!) I'm afraid of.

do you do anything different than bird photos? carry bear mace or a blade? i'm sure where there are black bears you're around grizzlies and cougars too
