from my understanding from what i read bokeh isn't created from aperature blades. when wide open at least.

Should have I attempted to get rid of the pinkey sky on the mountains? When looking at that shot with the naked eye thats how it looked. It was just a P&S full auto with my sd700IS

^^ I definitely think that photo has potential, but having the mixture of warm and cool colours made it visually confusing for me. With a little bit of editing, I think that picture could be really good.

Waited so long to get that shot.

First rule of thumb with kids... put a pillow under your bum so it doesn't go numb on the floor...

Second rule of thumb... bring water... I was so thirsty after sitting and waiting for the right shots...

Third rule of thumb... diaper... my backdrop was saved because if it. PHEW!!!

wow, lovely photo.. where did you find such a pretty staircase?
just a few questions/comments:
- is the white balance off? the "red" seems dull?
- i like the fact that you have a person walking through it, rather than waiting for it to be completely empty - it takes this photo away from the usual spiral staircase shots.
- a person opinion: I would crop out a little bit from the top and the left side.... leaving it a little bit asymmetrical.
