If the box says TwinStar or Three Dragons, does it mean legit? or something else?

I bought 3 from skinnypupp, 1 for me and 2 for friends, and it was great. It was very simple and the package comes right to my door. On top of it all you save a few bucks. Nothing to complain about.

Does anybody know where I can get my DS Lite "flashed'?

Razor Ramon HG 05-15-2007 03:35 PM

COMPC. I use to offer it a while back, but have stopped since.

Gamedeals near the New Westminster skytrain station also does it I believe.

SkinnyPupp 05-15-2007 06:02 PM

What do you mean "flashed"?

jing 05-15-2007 06:16 PM

I think he means flashed so he doesn't have to buy a slot 1.. but I don't really see the point in that, since there are many Slot-1 solutions available nowadays.

SkinnyPupp 05-15-2007 06:20 PM

Exactly... Just get an R4DS, you won't need a boot card or flash anything...

Razor Ramon HG 05-15-2007 06:33 PM

Maybe the person wants to play GBA using a Slot-2 like the EZ-V Deluxe.

SkinnyPupp 05-15-2007 07:18 PM

The R4 works as a passcard as well :)

Razor Ramon HG 05-15-2007 07:20 PM

Cheaper to just get it flashed, lol.

vapour_lock 05-17-2007 12:16 AM

ds games not good enough for you? i just came across this little GEM.

SNES emulator for DS
http://snemul.com/ds/SNEmulDSv05b_M3S_R4.zip
-put the .cfg in the root and .nds as well
-put roms in a folder "SNES"

BAM, start playing street fighter and super mario

its ok but far from perfect

Hey not bad! I think it will be pretty good when it gets a bit more work... I just fired up Mario All Stars and I'd say it's not quite ready to be used yet beyond experimentation.

An NES emulator might be easier, and that would be just great :)

Razor Ramon HG 05-17-2007 06:48 AM

nesDS is excellent at emulating NES.

SkinnyPupp 05-17-2007 07:26 AM

Cool I'll look that one up :D

I want to get my Mario 3 on, but that SNES emulator with All Stars isn't cutting it... And the SuperCard Lite doesn't play Mario Advance GBA properly...

shawn79 05-17-2007 04:32 PM

anyone want to give me a turtwig and a chimchar please :)
