meh...that's nothing new...we used to have this fairly big dude come into the library ALL the time...totally decked out like a woman, tiny skirts and all (might be the same person, by the description you gave)...that was like '99-'00 or something.

the only part that really bothered me was that he wore an INSANE amount of perfume and if I was working within 20 feet of him my eyes would start watering (I'm not kidding)

a couple mins later a middle-aged balding guy comes into the store wearing heels, pantyhose, fur coat, pearls, all the makeup and a red dress short enough that you can see the undergarments containing the proof that it in fact was not a women. now at this point i don't know what to think, maybe he was going to...i don't even know. so he brings his drink up to pay for it and i casual say to him "so did you lose a bet or something *chuckle chuckle*?" to which he replied "no, i just like to dress up sometimes *disgusting molester smile*." and as he was leaving he flashed the cabby outside the same head slightly cocked creepy smile...

i've lived in this town pretty much all my life and have never encountered something so creepy. ever! but i guess that's just another thing beautiful langford has to offer...

I think he took the blue pill.

I cannot put into words just how huge the Walmart in Duncan is.

gracefallen 04-24-2008 02:39 PM

The new Sprinter vans are HUGE. You're seriously 5 feet off the ground when you're driving one, it's ridiculous!!!

Victoria SiR 04-25-2008 07:31 AM

Some douche thinks its cool to rip up the street at light speed on his bike multiple times per day... when there's a fucking playground two blocks down. I may have to accidentally pull out in front of him in my truck one day... heh. I think it would be better for him to have a close encounter with my bumper rather than some kid chasing a ball.
/end rant

rental_metard 04-29-2008 08:11 PM

multiple times per day? just report his plate and the times he is doing it. VPD/saanich would do something about it

Benny95TA 04-29-2008 08:12 PM

Hmmm... good idea. Thanx man.
I typically wouldn't care, but its just not the spot for it.

Super Dipper 04-30-2008 05:22 AM

apparently some kids had some fun toppling a street mail box and dragging it into the middle of the street.

i laughed.

OffroadZuki 04-30-2008 09:48 AM

That reminds me of a time way back in grade 9. About 6 friends and myself made a HUGE snowball (big enough it took all 7 of us to move it.) on a snowday and rolled it into the middle of a 4-way (in oak bay, wasn't super busy), we had a larf at some cars/drivers that were really confused as to were it came from.

Understandable.

Surely at least ONE of you plays Smash Bros Brawl! I need competition to practice with, I'm entering the EVO game tournament this year.

rental_metard 05-01-2008 06:15 PM

i have a co-worker at the restaurant that has beat the game on intense, is that better than you?
this picture has no reason for being anywhere except anywhere I chose:

I just played through the story to get the extra characters and to experience the story. Then I just started practicing 1vs1 matches, no items, on neutral stages like Final Destination, stuff that would be used in tournaments.
I play random stages at times as well, to keep myself rounded out for whatever.

Who is your character of choice? I have some friends that would probably flex their might at brawl with you, unbelievably good players.

I main with Meta Knight and Marth is a secondary main I practice with at times. I'd love to play some good players, the better they are, the more I can learn from them.

mr_baboon 05-04-2008 10:51 PM

Its unbelieveable watching a good fox/falco player rock the reflector, main shield and dodge moves properly. Probably the hardest characters to beat out there if a good player is behind them.

Lageno 05-05-2008 10:56 AM

Going to a competition in Vancouver at the end of the month, guess this will be the decider if it's worth me spending money to hit up EVO or not.
