You're driving by yourself down the road doing your usual thing when you hear a rock bounce off your car (windshield / front area). What do you do?

Maybe someone on here can figure out what the driver of a Grey Focus was thinking last night.

Here's what happened.

I was at a stop traveling east on Humbolt with my left turn signal on, waiting to turn into the Marriot Hotel's parking lot. I was at a stop because I was waiting for three pedestrian's to finish crossing along the sidewalk.

I had JUST started to make my turn when I was hit in the front left corner by another car.

The other car was also traveling east on Humbolt. Had crossed over into the opposing traffic lane to pass me on the left. She was going fast enough that she didn't come to a stop until almost Blanshard St.

I still can't figure out what the hell was going thru the womens mind.

front bumper pulled forward
front left wheel has a big gouge out of he rim
there's some grey streaks all along that area up to the windshield, I'm thinking from her mirror etc

spun the car a little, driver side side airbag deployed. I'm surprisingly sore. Doctor perscibed me T3's and told me to stay home from work for a week.

rest of you: you're lucky...with as much snowy highway driving as I do, my shizz gets destroyed fast by rocks. Especially my headlights...I've had like 3 H4 conversions be taken out by rocks...grrrr!!!!

Keep driving. My car has been raped by rocks. Deep rock chips all over the front, 2 broken headlights, and a windshield with like 3 or 4 pretty good chips and thousands of pits .. makes seeing out of it interesting.

Oh yeah it was 80 degrees the whole time i was there. Suck a bunch to come home to a crap load of snow after a week in the beautiful sun. At least i have a rad new tattoo!! :D
