How much is parking down there on a sunday? Is it still the regular rates and up till 10pm?

Obsideon 03-03-2012 11:28 PM

You mean the street meter parking? I wasn't aware that they ever change from day to day?... isn't it always the same? I think it's about 40min for $2?... don't quote me on it though...

Sundays have cheaper parking. I know all day at PC is $6. Maybe other lots would be similar.

bcrdukes 03-03-2012 11:57 PM

Street parking rates never change. They remain in effect 7 days a week.

There's a block of free 2 hour parking (IIRC) on the block south of Ebisu

thanks guys

always happy with the service here, made a dinner resv for march 17 a week ago, had to add 5 seats to that today, friendly receptionist on the phone was very polite and made the call/request that much more pleasant.

Will be with a bunch of RS'ers for bday dinner including e.lo, _jtanner, exhil and a few others. Cant wait for good food and drinks at good prices.

:drunk:

Dropped by for the Ebisu Flair deal with gf yesterday evening (Sunday) and it was good. The deep fried mars attack dessert was gooooood!

I was there for the same thing, it was great!

I also saw someone get Sashimi, Oysters, and more in this HUGE bowl of ice, I think it was called Ice Break? Ice Breaker? Gotta try that next time.

Ebisu Flair was great except the algamo duck salad. The duck was dry and tasteless, it just had a unpleasant taste.

iceburner 03-12-2012 11:59 AM

duck salad? I never got that as part of the Ebisu Flair...

guess I lucked out =p

Hey Deon! came over for my friend's bday on saturday night
http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphot...45733930_n.jpg

Awesome service as always, our server (forgot her name, started with an M I think) was always attentive and quick to clean up after our messes :P

What's going on with your guys' sound system, there'll be times where there is no music and times where the music is too loud and everything in between lol! Is someone just dicking around with an ipod back there? haha

Had a great time and expecting nothing less when I come back this saturday for K3lv's bday

Obsideon 03-14-2012 01:45 PM

^ Haha I was making a Flaming Lambo in that pic wasn't I? :p Thanks for dropping by and I'll see you again this Saturday!
Regarding the sound system, yeah sometimes it depends on the song, some are louder than others for some weird reason ... not sure how to streamline it ... I'm playing off iTunes and they are usually songs transferred from my staff's iPod's.
The other times when there is no music is usually because we have to play the Happy Birthday song for a specific section of the restaurant so we turn off the other speaks so that the entire restaurant isn't blaring it.

hmm that's weird, a lot of people actually said that the salad was the highlight of the meal ... did the server forget to pour the dressing on top? Do you mind telling me which day you came to eat? I'll have to talk to chef about that. Thanks for the feedback and hopefully it will be better next time you visit!

you music files need to be at least 320kbps and up

chances are some of the music files are like 128 and stuff

which causes the sound quality to vary from track to track

Obsideon 03-14-2012 03:56 PM

Ohh ... hmm... omg it will be a PITA to sift through 6000+ songs for their sound quality ... :heckno:

In the folder with the songs right click the bar with the column titles (i.e. Name, artists, etc) and choose bit rate

There's another problem, they are branched out into like hundreds of different folders too ...

shawnly1000 03-18-2012 01:36 AM

Just a friendly comment/reminder, I've used the Ebisu Flair deal from Vaneats twice and each time the bill would still have them rung up at $20 on the bill when they should be $0 (only charging the tax on the $20).

Obsideon 03-18-2012 02:39 AM

Oh that shouldn't be happening! Ok I'll have a reminder set to the staff right away! Thanks

Whatever music player you use, you should be able to set it to automatically detect and adjust replay gain. That way, your songs will all come out within the same volume range.

jtanner_ 03-19-2012 10:26 AM

Was a pleasure to meet you for k3lv's birthday dinner Deon! Definitely happy with the meal/service, it's definitely been very consistant with the times i've been there in the past.
