does anyone else have notice that there are three different colours that the light on the power button has ?
blue - on
red - off
orange/yellow - i dont know ??

i only noticed this after i connected online to download some games. also i noticed that when it is orange/yellow that it does generate a fair amount of heat. not to the point where its the same temp when on..but definately hotter than off.

anyone else annoyed w/ the lack of availability of controllers too ?? man! i just pre-ordered wii-play and going to just live off of two controllers.

it should be green when its on.

when its in orange or yellow, it means its connected to WiiConnect24 which allows u to receive msg and stuff

If you have wireless, it's easy. If not, you need to get a USB WiFi connector. They retail for about 45 bucks.

hmm okok but if its orange/yellow and it can receive messages and what not ...doesn't that mean it needs a wireless internet source ? because i dont have a wireless router and i yanked the usb wifi connector so it shouldn't be online....im guessing its just another mode its in to receive incase it is connected to the internet ? .... thanks

Yah, the wii isn't region free, so we'd have to wait awhile or else import a Japanese Wii + game.
