My dad just bowled a 289 in Wii Sports before dinner! Damn, I think it's gonna be untouchable as my sister's best is 213 and mine only 205. Gotta practice more, LOL!

i can't seem to beat home run derby either.. i always get 9 homeruns.. then i screw up on the last ball.

i got around 244, but i still can't control the spin on the ball........no matter how it turn or twist it my ball always spins to the left, except maybe like once or twice
the only way i can throw somewhat straight is to throw it in the air first so it doesn't have enouge time to curve away haha

My highest bowling score is around 260. That's about the only game in Wii Sports which I play on a regular basis. I find it hard to throw the ball straight but I can control the ball's spin pretty well.

my highest in bowling is 22x. i've achieved pro status in bowling and tennis with 12xx and 11xx.

ANbody had problems with their wii?

after around 40hrs + of playin on this console i have encountered 2 times of disconnect problem on the wii remote, like when i try to connect to the console the blue lights on the remote lights up, yet the console does not detect anything. i tried hitting that red button and the one on the remote..nth. My friend said he read on the manual to hold the red button on the console for 15 seconds than reconnect....tried tat and still no. (i fixed it the first time after resetting/power ON/OFF a couple times) my friend encountered once.


Other friend had problem with connectin as well as while the console is reading the game it makes a kind of weird noise.

you might want to try replacing the batteries on your wiimote after 40 hrs of game play :)

my wii probley has over 80+ hours and ive ran into no problems.

I think when your player 1 cursor starts going blurry blue it means that its time to change batteries.. "I think" at least i noticed that twice when my batteries were gonna die out.

NONo im on my 2nd-3rd set of brand new batteries.


As for the ppl that replied towards this problem, i clicked on HOME while im in a game, my battery status shows FULL! and i just put in these new batteries not too long ago, have about 10-12hrs o it..

i calculated it out with VIBRATE turned off each set of good brand name batteries should last u around 20hrs - or + depending..

yeh only problem i've had is the system freezing that one time.

i bought SFII today btw!! finally found some classic controllers at FS yesterday.

Anyone else getting an error message saying the "system files are corrupted." on a black screen? I have to restart the system, yet all my game data still remains saved.

Also, is the Wii Channel Menu supposed to be flickering when you load up the machine?

haha i have the same problem, i put in new batteries too and still the 4 leds just blink, getting fustrating that it wont connect.
