But u should be thankful tho, friend bought the wii and FIRST day it froze up on him loading the game .....so.. :p |
yeah...mines did that a couple times.....just hold the power button for like 5-10secs...and it'll turn off |
after reading up some articles.. they are talking about making it completely wireless controllers between the wii remote and nunchuck. Damn i wonder if now is a good time to have all 4 controllers? or wait until they released a completely wireless set. Does that mean i will have to buy the remotes everything from the start again? or the nunchuck will just be compatible with the original wii remote.. hmmm.. as well as the annoying wired-sensor bar going wireless  |
I might be reading different articles than you have but I haven't seen anything close to concrete about the wireless nunchuck. However, I don't get why you need to plug in the classic controller. I thought it was a no-brainer to make that wireless. Oh well. |
exactly, thatz the expressio i had when i first got my wii. thought it was a no brainer to make EVERYTIING WIRELESS...like hello? we are in 2007 now not 1997, we shouldnt be seening any wires, especially on the nunchuck and the annoying sensor bar oh well |
Classic and Nunchuk are wired to save you money. Same with the sensor bar (which is also very annoying, I agree). To put Bluetooth into everything else would cost consumers even more, and to have to buy more sets of each means we're even more brokeass. |
actually isnt it the opposite? by providing us the wireless set in the first place so that we dont go out and buy the wire ones first than later on the year *2007 according to EB games website they will be released a wireless version of controller and sensor bar |
I'm going to be getting Mario Kart when I get home today. What VC games do you guys have. I have Mario Bros. (the regular nes, not the stupid arcade one) and Link to the Past. |
i bought Mario Kart today, was kinda disapointed as i would have prefered the SNES version, but oh well for VC games i have: Street fighter 2, Super mario [NES], Legend of zelda [NES], link to the past, Bomberman 2, Mario 64, Mario kart 64, and i think 1 or 2 more nintendo just bent me over and gave it to me :( |
which mario kart? the one that was on N64?? if so i had be intersted getting it what kind of controllers do u need in order to play that? do we must purchase the classic wii controller? |
yeh im guessing u'd have to use the classic for N64 mario kart, cuz it would be hard to control with the wii mote. only game i've bought is SFII, waiting on starfox64 |
yea u need the classic for Mario kart 64 |
can i use a GC controller for mario kaRT?... too bad it wasnt mario kart snes |
^i can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to use gc controller on an n64 game unless it needed the C-buttons (instead of the C-stick) |
i don't think GC controllers work on most VC games. my gf tried using the GC controller to play bomberman and that didn't work. she had to turn the remote horizontally and play it like that. the classic controller is probably your best bet..they are alot easier to find than regular controllers. i just have the one classic controller and i kinda like it ...if they released an original SNES controller to hook up w/ the wii i'd buy it in a heartbeat. |
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...rth_America%29 Based on this you can use your GC controller for all. Did you plug it in to the right port? The fourth controller port could look like the first depending on how you placed the wii. |
man nice strategy Nintendo has..now it just means more money going out on this so called "CHEAP" console.. 24.99 for classic, wat if u need 4? so 4 remotes, 4 nunchcusk, 4 classics in order to have a full party console? hmm.. |
if your using GC controllers, for some classic games u need at least 1 Wiimote + classic still i belive, then the rest can be GC |
i think i plugged it in right. well i keep it plugged in because i play alot of GC games on the wii anyways. but i do have a classic controller so it doesn't bother me too much. but i agree w/ Mugen EvOlutioN about how nintendo is pressuring sales of multiple controllers. |

There's an easier fix for this - go help you friends find a Wii so they'll have a wiimote and nunchuk to bring over next time you play games. If they can't afford a Wii, they're not cool enough to be your friend, lol |
LOL i like ur logic so i should start getting some rich friends eh? or at least rich enough to afford a Wii so he/she can come play my weeee :p |
i've spent in excess of 700$ in my wii so far including system, and am pretty content with what i got in return, mind u I only have 2 remotes and 1 nunchuck still + classic controller |
Anybody who works should be able to save up for a current system that only costs $280. If they're not able to afford that, then they don't fucking deserve the wonders of the Wii. It's simple as that - you gotta PAY to PLAY. |
LOl so far i have spend over $1000 dollar on my wii 9-10 games, 2 set of controllers, component..blah blah blah |
