i noticed about 15%-20% of difference switching from COmponent vs standard cable tat came with the Wii
this was on a 42" Sharp Aquos LCD HDTV. i was playing zelda and did a compairson with the two cables by switching back and forth while on the same screen. WIth component the picture was brighter and sharper, while with standard cable the picture was much more blurry

lots more will be coming out, they are slowly releasing them all

Super Mario World (snes mario) is coming this month I think, and if you dig that you should grab Kirby when it's released. Mario Kart 64 is supposed to also come out sometime soon, but I want my oldschool Mario Kart too!

It depends on the game, it tells you before you download the game. Most NES games can be played with the Wiimote, but you can use the other controllers.

Platform Wii Remote Classic Controller GCN Controller
NES Yes Yes Yes
SNES No Yes Yes
N64 No Yes Yes
Mega Drive/Genesis Some Yes Some
TurboGrafx-16 Yes Yes Some

Although it is quite fun to play some retro gaming, the VC games IMO are overpriced.

Narayan 01-11-2007 05:02 PM

my friends code:

7437-0278-7375-3915

i already added some people here, but then it was taking to long... haha

honda_h2o 01-11-2007 05:42 PM

So who picked up 1 of the 12 Wii's I release today. Damn ppl are so fast and their stupid macros they coded. I had one released to my friend in his cart ready he couldn't even get to the pay button and it was unavailable already.

Hondaracer 01-11-2007 10:56 PM

how do u add friend codes??

IMASA 01-11-2007 11:02 PM

You add them to your address book in Wii mail.

Hondaracer 01-11-2007 11:45 PM

k my code is

4877 3781 9603 3455

i'll add everyone in this thread to this point

Hyde 01-12-2007 05:12 PM

how do u know if someone added u or not?

IMASA 01-12-2007 05:18 PM

You'll be able to send msg to them. You can't send anything, Mii's or msgs if they have not added you.

Hyde 01-12-2007 05:50 PM

but ur wii wont tell u that someone has added u or not.

once u add their's, and they have added yours, the contact will be available to send msg's to in the adress book, thats the only way you will know

i guess it kinda makes sense, considering that at some point the 2 people would have had to exchanged #'s making it so they actually know eachother

btw, i added u hyde, send me your Mii :)
