But I don't understand why people won't just use rechargable AA batteries? I have a bunch of those lying around, so I don't see a reason to buy a seperate charging station. |
does the 2nd one comes with 2 battery? i suppose? Can u charge it while ur Wii is turned off???? |
48 pack aa only cost me $7 after taxes i dont feel the need to get those rechargeable pack. |
Ya i know i was just curious who has actually went out to purchase these. 48 pack for $7 dollar? wow wat kind of brand? no name im assuming? I think regular Duracell copper ones is like 24 pack for likr $8-10 dollar?? Than i tried the more expensive Energizer Titanium one its like 12 for $ 10 And even the most expensive Lithium blue packaged Energeizer? its like 4 pack for $10-12 dollar I felt spending the $29.99 for 2 recharging battery really isnt tat cheap, becuz average out a single AA battery is around a $1. And if u have 4 controllers u need 2 charging station. $29.99 x2 = $60 |

LOL probably 4-5 hrs The batteries i use they last about 20-22hrs before they died, tats with rumble feature off tho |
http://anitec.ca/product/7565/maxell...tery_48_pack_/ $9.95 + tax for a 48 pack of Maxell's I havn't tried them, but when I'm gonna need to buy batteries.. that's what I'm gonna buy. |
actually they are our bestbuy branded Dynex 48 pack They lasted roughly 15hrs seeing that I play around 2-3hrs a day thats howl ong they last me as long as a regular duracell battery. i just find that NiMh batteries dont last at all for nintendo wiimotes. Cause I have a set of Duracell NimH and they die out in like under 5 hrs even faster if i dont always use it. But i'll try and keep track of how long they last next time when i replace them. |
Ya keep us updated..so we know which brands to go for I did notice using those cheap Panasonic battery got it from work lasts me around 13-15 hrs than i need to replace them. WIth the one i bought it myself, Duracell or Energizer they lasts at least 5-6 hrs more. Longest it lasts me was around 24-25hrs. |
The thing about NiMH batteries is that they lose their charge even when not being used. But they should definitely last longer than 5 hours.. Those batteries are probably dead. |
I bought 4 AA Monster Cable brand rechargeable NiMH from XS Cargo with charger for only $9.99 and they work very well and were fucking cheap! I think they still have them but for a dollar more? |
anyone got naruto working? i tried a 2 different iso and none of them loaded |
none of the naruto games work gc nor wii~ doesn't matter what chip you got. i guess it's something to do with the region coding by that company~ |
Got SUper paper mario today, beat the first chapter already fucking fun, much better than the last one~~~ SSX ughh..its ok..not impressed Metal slug...hmmmmmm soso the rest of the games i beat it already Zelda, ELEbits, rayman Not too much fun games left for me to play, most of the good ones either beat it or nearly done already Ya i had Naruto, doesnt work..so i return it Same thing with the Crayon game (tat comic) didnt work too |
On a sidenote, anyone cared and got the cooling fan from INTEC yet for their Wii? was thinking about gettin it $19.99 not tat i care about the wii if it burns or not....just for the hell out of it. But i think im gonna wait for ASID or the other company to release one...INTEC's quality is usually garbage :( |
Why would you waste your money buying a cooler for the Wii? It never consumes more than 20W... it will never need extra cooling. |
it gets a LITTLE warm when i play for hours....haha just picky :D |
Mugen spends alot of money on video games, just let him be lol. My friend burnt this horse racing game lol i don tknow if its good or not though, but its in jap which kinda lost my excitement over slapping a horses's ass or riding on an invisible horse haha |
i notice my wii dont like to read DVDR when warm |
my wii is always a little warm though on or off lol so i don't pay any attention to it ~ but if u put the wii on the side for a while it gets burning hot ~ i guess you can't lay the wii down flat? |
ya i am a gaming nerd now..gosh must be all the stress working full time i suppose haha.. I didnt play muvh video game back than tho..and now im 22 and got into video games :) Never tried layin the Wii flate down tho, i suppose its not good for ventilation? just like the xbox 360, its cooler when it lays vertically So i guess afterall gettin the cooler is worth it, just make the wii to read games when u say it doesnt like to read, wat exactly happens??? does it say error? and tells u to spit it out and reset? cuz tats wat happened to me yesterday after playing like 3 hrs and i switched a game, than it said error |
Buying a cooler isn't worth it. |
SkinnyPupp: u said Wii only draws 20w from the supply? how about 360 and ps3 than?¡@ cuz those two macines definitely gets much wamer |

I skimed thru the website, so wat are u saying? more wattage more heat??? not necessary? If a system has a better built/design in the first place it may have better flow of air /ventilation vs another system that has lower wattage being with draw but poor vent.??? I understand Wii hardly uses any power, but it still CAN get WARM cant it... |
