well the wii will get warm regardless coz all it has for ventilation is a puny fan on the back ~ and i shouldn't think laying the wii flat will affect the ventilation since the fan is on the back of the console ~ so i've no idea

Of course it gets warm. But that doesn't affect anything whatsoever. It's meant to be warm :lol

Get a fan if you want, it is just completely pointless. All you'll accomplish is ridding the Wii of one of its biggest advantages, that it makes no noise at all (well except when it's reading discs which kinda sucks)

thats true, the Wii is really really quiet, but to be honest..so is the ps3!! u cant even hear it running...seriously

I just bought one for $29.99 from AsiD at best buy

now the problem i realize after i purchase, it said 100 feet distance which i thought would be really good

After receiving it i realize it says 100 feet limite from the bar to the wii! than 8 feet from the bar to the wii remote ?? wtf

Am i missin sth? guess im gonna go home and test it out today....grrrr

not a bad product, it definitely keeps my Wii really cool. I just play for 4hrs straight and my Wii is ice cold, no more warm console like previously even if i leave it off, the red/orange status would still warm up the wii

only complaints is they dont have an OFF switch, so i either have to unplug the power from the wii and plug it back on to let the Wii go into OFF status than the fan will be off, or i just have to remove the fan each time

neways just picked up Mario Paper for Wii today, im hooked on it, the thing that pisses me off is the text based storyline, u cant skip it, and too much dialogue......

RE4 would be intersting, but i already beat the game like 4-5 times. I would really appreciate the game a lot more if they at LEAST add a little sth new, not just throw me a oh brand new control/aim.

After i had my wii key installed in the wii, i noticed i get a lot more ERROR while loading up the game. Anybody got this problem?

Like it will say error and please eject the game and turn the system off and refer to ur owner's manual!!!


I think i get this error msg when im in wii's main page and i just put in the game, i click on the game section to go in and waiting for the START button to light up than it goes into ERROR mode

but if im in the wii menu and just insert the game, i wait until the game picture shows up ( meaning it detects the game and finish loading) than i click in and press start i dont have this problem i think

Just spoke to my friend today tho regarding the ERROR he keeps on getting since the day he got his Wii, and he didnt even mod his wii yet...happened to him about 7-8 times and he got it around christmas

yea, i have the Component cables, but i have the Wii hooked up in my room to my non-hd TV, havent really used the component on my LCD too much yet
