you need a wiimote to play any game. some games require a nunchuck attachment. as far as i know the classic controller is not required for any wii game. the virtual console games use the classic controller |
everyone wii remmote you buy u need to buy a nunchuck go to the states and buy the nunchuck way less than here if u r gunna buy a full set for the wii |
Ok I ended up getting the Wii which comes with the wiimote of course. Then I got an additional wiimote that includes those mini games.. and then I got 2 nunchucks as well. I also got mario kart and mario party. weee I am gonna play it on tuesday can't wait. Thanks for the advice guys. |
you just got urself an extra nunchuck since u siad u got 2 nunchucks too.... the wii itself comes with wii remote and nunchuck |
Yea I realize that now. I have to return one. |
if you want a good game to play redliine buy Twilight princess, it was definately one of the better games i've played in a longgggg time and the way it utilizes the Wii's remote is the best i've seen in a wii game so far |
Thanks dude. I am not much for adventure / storyline games and such but I will probably rent a few games before I buy more. I can see how the Wii would take full advantage of Twilight Princess with its remote functions. I don't have a lot of time to play it but like I said i'm going to crack it open on tuesday. I got it for my gf and I to play on rainy days. Fuck i'm getting old. |
1 word. guitar hero 3 |

Wait till June 22nd when Rockband comes out for the wii. Its gonna be like the ps2 one gamewise and functions, but with graphics comparable to the ps3/360. |

is there only one version of Guitar hero on wii? i know ps2 has 80's version and some other ones sold seperately... |
I played my Wii for the first time on Tuesday. I played mario kart and loved it. I like how you can drift around the corners and get additional boost when you exit. I also like how they've got a lot of tracks from the original game. Brings me back to the olden days of playing nintendo with my 3 buddies for 13 hrs a day on days where it was too shitty outside to play street hockey. Battle mode ftw haha.. I found the wheel to be pretty tough but using the wiimote and nunchuck thing made it a lot easier. I imagine though I could be just as good with the wheel with more practice.. The wii is crazy fun :D Also got smash bros. woop |
haha I'm glad your enjoying your wii man!!! Yea the wheel you need some time to get used to. I've been using wheel since I bought the game, but now I've been lacking some cornering speed so I changed to what everyone says is easier, wii+nunchuck. I got A rank timing on the bowser 64 map :D Using that is much faster for me. I'm currently using bike too |
Do the rankings mean anything? On one circuit I got 2 star rating and other I get B or C when I get gold. |

Nice. I am going to try and get that, too. I figured out how to do tricks in the air last night haha. 150cc is friggin' hard. It's gonna be tough getting a star rating for those ones. |

I saw a wonderful thing today -- a small pile of Wii's at the new Costco by Willingdon and they weren't even bundled - system only It's insane that it's been a year and a half since release and that's the first time I've ever seen them in any large quantity |
