i got the new version of the wii's purchased 2 weeks ago, the D2Ckey is the best for this version right?

anybody have problems reading the brawl disc?? i've tried two different discs (both retail) both times my wii says unable to read disc. then i stumbled upon this http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/rep...anada_ssbb.jsp

they want me to send in the wii for cleaning but mine is modded, is it possible they could just send it back to be and not clean it because its modded? can i just buy a lens cleaner and try that even though they said do not attempt to clean the lens yourself.

how about on a d2c key? i have one of those, but i haven't tested out the REAL retail copy yet on it.... is it confirmed that i works?

hate to break it to you but SSBB retail does not work with only the WiiKey modded systems

you have only 3 options, wait for the WiiKey team to release a firmware upgrade, download the iso and burn it on a dual layer dvd, or corrupt your wiikey firmware using the current firmware revision

2. burn my own copy (don't have dual layer burner so its out of the question)

3. or update it using the nintendo update? i think i just did that actually online through their network and all my games are still functioning except for this stupid brawl

grandview hwy superstore had some wiis today...

not that many characters are unlocked through SSE, probably only R.O.B, Sonic Jigglypuff, Mr. Game and Watch and Wolf. Its easier to unlock the rest through brawl-ing.

SSE took me 8-9hrs to beat. ahaha

I unlocked some through SSE (the ones that require like 200 brawl counts) and some through regular play. It took a while haha.

that was the purpose of the last update for the wiikey, to make it generally compatible with SSBB.... original disc and a burnt copy....

however, now there is skeptism that this could be the very last firmware update by the Wiikey team as they have disbanded or move on...
