I picked mines up today. I saw like 4 boxes of the game behind the counter

played for about an hour so far, the Story mode is very cool :)

there are tons of copies at BB in richmond....

i played the japanese version a month ago, iv already unlocked like 6 characters, and then i stop playing it because knowing i have to re unlock all the stuff again when the english version comes out...


so what you guys preferrences for controls?


i used my Wavebird when i played it but i settled with nunchuck+wiimote eventually.......

i figure the gamecube controller is the same so i haven't tried it. so far i like the wiimote (with nothing else) the best. the classic controller is ok and for some reason I had lots of trouble with the nunchuck.

the nun-chuck and controller seems to work well i really havent got all the controlls down yet though

the Wiikey team is MIA, so their not sure when they will release a firmware update..

i saw tons of copies at BB today and i was itching to pick up a copy as well....


but most likely a dumped of the DL iso will be release in a couple of days or the firmware fix


but ya, i got used to using the analog stick to move around, i just find it more comfortable to hold the 2 controllers apart and chill back rather than use the GC or the Wiimote sideways and play with close handed

i really dislike the wiimote standalone controls its really awkward, i hafnt tried the wiimote+nunchuck, ive been using the wavebird.

LOl i went to pick up my copy at BB today and they were demoing it, and some dude brought his own wavebird to play while others used the wiimote
i think he was gonna use the wave bird for the tournament

shit i think its time we should have a little Revscene Brawl tourny.. haha

i dont even hav anyone on my friends list on wii, i barely use it for online play

didnt think there would be enough depth in SSBB as a fighting game but damn after watching all this Brawl tourney vids, i want to hone up my skill...... and i never played SSB before Brawl.. i never tried Melee..

unlocked so much characters already took a long time to do....
anyone know how many battles i need to unlock all the characters the site i went to doesnt seem to be correct

gamecube controllers work way better for me than the wii remote+nunchuck

why would you want to buy a burnt a copy?

the dump isos capping at 7.92 gigs have already been released on torrents.... just find them yourself

you guys will need a DL DVD+R for dual layer disc......DL DVD-R will not work.. also get Fujifilm and Verbatim disc... those are confirmed to work..

im dling it right now but not that many seeders.. im only averaging about 100kb or so.... this is going to take me a day and half.. ugh...

either way im still picking this up eventually once they got to work around the mod chip issues.... i bought Mario Galaxy a month after i actually beat it with a downloaded copy.. its not the same feeling to own a legit copy for me..


i would burn you a copy Mugen but im short on dual layer disc..... and its not wise to buy them yourself for $30 per pack just so u can get me to burn you one copy...... just get your gf's bro to download it.... within a matter of days, this iso dumped will be seed like crazy and it will take less than a day to dl it..

Mugen do yourself a favour, and rent a copy of SSBB at Rogers vid, see if it works for your modded console

i read that most of the ppl who attempted to play the jap console with the update last month (like me) fails to load a legit copy of SSBB

while some who never updated their wiikey at all, until now, will work on SSBB when it ask for an update...

shit i just asked him, his army of two is taking a long time, it'd be two weeks before i get a hand on...

Just to let you know, I am able to wifi battle with my friend even though I have a japanese version of the game and he has the english one.

Oh and about the friend code issue, I think the brawl friend code is customize to each individual wii. My friend and I seem to be able to play fine through wifi.

PS. I have a backup copy of the japanese game.
