they bet on it... second half of next year the wii are gonna have dvd playback compatibility... and no it's not firmware upgradeable on the exsisting wii's so it very well could be a redesign with slight modification

w00p. well dvd playback isn't much of an upgrade imo. plenty of other devices that can do that. :P

how does the blue light on the dvd slot works???

it flashes when i put my disc in and thats about it

and now all of sudden it start flashing slowly when the WII is on idle

i wonder if the 2nd gen wii will have anything new other than dvd playback

Hyde, if your Wii is on idle with connect24 you most likely recieve a message from one of your friends or you recieved a Mii.
