My top 2 are fully in and don't need to be pulled, bottom one is all in, the other partway but might not come in more.

One may need to be pulled at some point on the bottom but so far so good. Was at the dentist today.

madddskillz 01-04-2007 01:37 AM

mine are bugging the hell out of me right now :(

BoySupra604 01-04-2007 01:42 AM

8 hour total of surgery to pull all 4 of mine out. Suck ass

asian_XL 01-04-2007 01:42 AM

^ better check with your dentist asap...my buddy gf's wisdom
tooth got infected near the bone. It was painful and she looks
like being punched several times on her cheek. There's no pain
when you are in the dentist office, it's just difficult to eat

BoySupra604 01-04-2007 01:49 AM

I accualy had them pulled out last year. My wisdom teeth were all hooked at the roots. If they were to pull it they would of ripped my gums apart. They drilled and had to split and crack the tooth in tiny pieces. That was the first time I've ever seen a Dentist use a big hammer.

coke.wit.lamb 01-04-2007 01:55 AM

I had all 4 pulled out in the beginning of August 2005. All I ate for the first day was congee and jello....the day after I was having dim sum ^^.

Ugh I had all of mine in 2004. Teeth were embedded in my gums. Didn't put me out, just morphine. A 2 hour procedure for 2 teeth turned out to be about 4-5 hours for just 1. They just dug a well in my gums, it was the worst thing EVER.

Dunno but either I was imagining it or the shots were wearing off but close to the end I suddenly felt a shitload of pain and they had to shoot me up with another 2 shots of morphine. The gums got infected. 2 weeks later went back for the other 2.

That go super infected and was on liquids for over a week. Had over 2 bottles of antibiotics for the infections. My body became immune to the antibiotics but not to infections. I was getting different infections for about 6 months after that...from ear to sinus, etc...my body was pretty fucked up.

I still have the top 2 :( but they've grown out alil since then....

seakrait 01-04-2007 02:35 AM

i had all of mine taken out just with local anaesthetic. so that's -4. also had 4 premolars taken out for orthodontic reasons. so that's now -8 teeth. i chew slower now.

I got mine out. Funny story.

The shots don't work on me. I have a naturally high resistance to this sort of shit so after six shots, it felt exactly the same. No numbness, nothing. The doctor wanted me to come back another time so they could sedate me but I thought...whatever...let's just go for it. How bad could it be?

My dentist has a TV in the room so I was changing channels when he was going for it. I told him to just yank so when he did, it hurt like a motherfucker.

I was still holding the remote...which I crushed into little tiny plastic and circuit board bits.

This thread makes me wanna cry as i have not had mine removed yet... partly due to no dental coverage/lack of funds.

Good_KarMa 01-04-2007 06:17 AM

Do we have to take them out? mines havent bothered me for months.

I think you mean novacaine. Morphine would have people going to the dentist more :)

Dragon-88 01-04-2007 08:05 AM

Psh. Convenient excuse. :p

I had mine pulled back in.... '02? Got knocked out as they had to cut open the sides of my mouth in order to access my wisdom teeth. Ended up on near pure codine pills for close to a week.

Wasn't fun.
