Eh? Because it's a nice media player AND a phone? A PDA isn't a phone. The iPhone isn't a PDA and a phone either, but it's something else. PDAs probably have MORE functionality than an iPhone, but PDAs fall short in the multimedia category.

It's got some shortcomings, but I've come to terms with that and I'm using it knowing full well what else is out there right now, and I'm content, so I use an iPhone instead of my PDAs and a phone. :)

Hard plastic. Polycarbonate to be exact; it's bloody tough stuff.

That won't work for your iPhone though, but it'll embed album art in your MP3s (which works on some other MP3 players, like the one on the U600, the Palm PocketTunes, etc.). For the iPhone you'll need iTunes to set the album art for ya.

Eh that's for the old iTunes. The current iTunes automatically downloads the album art if your tag info is correct.
