Q: I no longer have the option to choose my free Welcome Back games. What can I do?
A: If you navigate away from the Welcome Back section of the store without choosing your free games or exit the store completely or have been kicked off due to high traffic you may need to follow the below in order to choose and download your free games.
1. On your PlayStation 3 or PlayStation Portable navigate to the PlayStation Network icon on the XMB
2. Log into your PlayStation Network account and choose Account Management > Transaction Management > Services List
3. Choose “SCEA Promotions” from the list of services displayed
4. Select either “PS3 Free Games” or “PSP Free Games” and then choose “Select Content”
You will be taken to the store to choose your remaining free games or be allowed to download an activated game that may have not shown up due to the hightraffic demand.
Anyone ever bought a Japanese game (PS3) for a PS3 purchased in Canada? I did some research and it turns out that its not region locked. Someone on another website said "If you buy a Japanese game, you have to buy Japanese DLC for it (from their store). Same thing with US games, need US Store DLC etc". Anyone mind explaining how this works cause I'm about to buy a Japanese game and the last thing I want happening is getting ***ed over.

From what I remember, you can play the game since like you said its not region locked. But you won't have access to DLC if you have to retrieve it from the PSN Store if you put in your valid address. Some people have made dummy accounts with a japanese address to access JDM DLC content though
Holy crow! I never knew seen this thread on RS before heh. Good thing I found it.

there's a disclaimer though that says it's only active as long as you have an active PSPlus subscription. based on that I'm assuming when your 30 days are up you'll no longer be able to play the game?
